Tennessee Chattanooga: Adam Braithwaite has been promoted to defensive coordinator and Russ Huesman is in the process of hiring Rusty Wright, defensive coordinator at Reinhardt (NAIA - GA), as linebackers coach. 

Illinois: Al Seamonson will join the staff as outside linebackers according to Tom Dienhart of the Big Ten Network.

Southern Miss: Sources tell us Mississippi College defensive line coach Mitchell Pate will join the Southern Miss staff as a defensive grad assistant. 

New Orleans Saints: Ole Miss co-defensive coordinator / corners coach Wes McGriff has been offered the defensive backs job with the Saints according to Chuck Rounsaville (Ole Miss Spirit). Update: The Saints have announced the hiring. 

The ACC released its 2013 schedule today, and we had a few things to say about it.

Georgia Military College (JC): GMC, a member of the NJCAA, is now seeking applicants for a defensive (linebackers or defensive line) restricted earnings position. Coaches that have had experience with the Linebackers or Defensive Line are encouraged to apply. Details include a salary, housing, and recruiting area. Stanford: Sources tell us FIU tackles / tight ends coach Morgan Turner (who was part of Stanford's staff the past few seasons), will return to Stanford as tackles / tight ends coach. 

Arkansas: Offensive line coach Sam Pittman was hired in December with an annual salary of $275,000. It was reported this afternoon that Pittman has been given a new contract paying him $500,000 / year through June 2016 after he was reportedly courted by Alabama. 

Kentucky State: Defensive line coach Josh Dean has been named interim head coach. 

West Virginia: Stanford offensive tackles / tight ends Ron Crook has been announced as the new offensive line coach at West Virginia. 

University of St. Francis (NAIA - IL): The University of St. Francis is seeking a restricted earnings wide receivers coach. Compensation includes an $8,000 stipend and some meals during the season. There is no housing or benefits included with this position. Review of candidates will commence immediately and will continue until the position is filled. Winnipeg Blue Bombers (CFL): The team has hired former Western Illinois defensive backs coach Carl Franks to the same position. 

South Florida: Alabama director of player personnel Paul Gonnella is joining the South Florida staff in a similar capacity sources close to the situation confirm to us. 

Simon Fraser (D-II): Sources tell us Southern Arkansas (D-II) defensive backs / special teams coordinator James Colzie has accepted the defensive coordinator / defensive backs job at Simon Fraser. 

Miami (OH): Loveland HS head coach Andrew Marlatt has taken the special teams coordinator job at Miami (Ohio). 

Concordia University (NAIA - MI): Concordia University has openings on their staff for a running backs coach and tight ends / special teams coach. Both positions are part-time, stipend positions. NO meals, housing or benefits included – ideally candidate will be local. Additional stipend for spring practices is available. Florida State: Tennessee running backs coach Jay Graham is leaving to join Florida State's staff according to Butch Jones has confirmed. 

Concordia University (NAIA - MI): Lamarcus Hicks, the defensive coordinator at Taylor Truman HS (MI), has accepted the defensive backs job under Lonnie Pries at Concordia.

South Florida: Former USF quarterback Marquel Blackwell will join the staff according to Josh Newberg. Blackwell served as a grad assistant at Western Kentucky last season. 

Chaffey College (CA): Sources tell us Kiyoshi Harris is joining the staff as offensive line coach. 

Youngstown State (FCS): George Jenkins High School (FL) head coach Eric Gallon is joining the staff as running backs coach. Sources tell us former Gardner-Webb offensive coordinator Kurt Beathard will likely join the staff as well. 

Cumberland University (NAIA - TN): Brad Bustle has accepted the offensive line position at Cumberland. Bustle worked this past season with the defensive line at at Virginia Tech. 

Georgia Military College (JC): Georgia Military has a job opening for a restricted earnings offensive line position. Housing is included along with multi-state recruiting area. Please email offensive coordinator Ross Robinson at

Lindsey Wilson College (NAIA - KY): Lindsey Wilson is accepting applications for an Offensive Assistant Football Coach (Restricted Earnings). Responsibilities include on field coaching, recruiting, video editing, assisting with the strength and conditioning program, and other duties within the football program.
