UNC Charlotte (FCS): Former Texas Tech defensive coordinator Matt Wallerstedt will join the Charlotte staff per Bruce Feldman.

Anderson (D-III - IN): Anderson has hired John Sala as head coach. He was previously at Louisburg College in North Carolina.

Kansas: Cal assistant head coach/wide receivers coach/passing game coordinator Rob Likens will join the KU staff as offensive coordinator according to Jayhawk Slant. We can confirm the hire.

Houston: The Cougars have announced Utah State defensive coordinator Todd Orlando to the same position. Our story.

Texas Tech: Sources tell us Texas Tech and David Gibbs have reached an agreement. As we told you this morning, expect Gibbs to bring Zac Spavital with him from Houston. Update: The school has announced the hirings, as well as the promotion of running backs coach Mike Jinks to associate head coach and that interim DC Mike Smith will remain on staff as co-defensive coordinator.

Houston: Tom Herman has officially announced the hiring of Craig Naivar (assistant head coach/co-defensive coordinator/safeties), Jason Washington (special teams coordinator/cornerbacks), Drew Mehringer (wide receivers) and Corby Meekins (tight ends).

Mississippi State: Manny Diaz will earn $575,000, $600,000, and then $625,000 in his three year deal.

Virginia Tech: Hokies beat writer Andy Bitter has tweeted some updated salary information for Frank Beamer's assistants - Bud Foster, $900,000 ($600,000 salary plus an annual $300,000 retention bonus); Scot Loeffler, $424,000; Bryan Stinespring, $337,000; Charley Wiles, $308,000; Stacy Searels, $280,000; Torrian Gray, $275,000; Shane Beamer, $252,000; Cornell Brown, $252,000; Aaron Moorehead, $185,000. Loeffler has also been extended through June 2016.

SMU: Chad Morris has announced his initial staff - Joe Craddock, offensive coordinator; Van Malone, defensive coordinator; Dustin Fry, offensive line; Jess Loepp, defensive backs; Claude Mathis, running backs; Archie McDaniel, linebackers; Justin Stepp, wide receivers; Bill Young, defensive line and Keith Gunn, undetermined defensive position.

Buffalo Bills: Mike Shanahan has interviewed for the Bills' head coaching job, according to the AP.

Saint Vincent College (D-III – PA): Saint Vincent College in Latrobe, PA has an intern coaching opportunity available. Monetary compensation is in the $8000-$9000 range. Bachelor’s degree preferred. Union College (KY): Union College is seeking applicants for a Graduate Assistant position working with the Wide Receivers. Experience playing in a spread offense/WR or coaching WRs is preferred. Bachelor’s Degree and valid driver’s license required. Responsible for all aspects of the WR position, film breakdown, scouting reports, recruiting, equipment duties and other duties assigned by the Head Coach. Stipend is $450 per Month (August to May) and includes a Tuition waiver. No housing or meals. Union College offers Graduate programs in Education and Psychology. The position begins ASAP. Jim Mora: Jim Mora will interview either today or tomorrow for the Jets head coaching position per the Bruin Report (Scout). We had heard the 49ers wanted to speak with him. Will update... Update> Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports weighs in noting the interest from the Jets and the Niners is serious.

Arkansas: Bret Bielema stated today that defensive coordinator Robb Smith has signed a new contract with Arkansas.

Vanderbilt: Derek Mason has now officially announced the hiring of Andy Ludwig as offensive coordinator. Following the news that Wes McGriff will remain with the Saints, Mason has announced that he will call the defense himself. Mason notes that they continue to look for a receivers coach and a corners coach.

North Texas: Former Mean Green running back Brandin Byrd has returned to the program as a GA, the school has announced.

Saint Vincent College (D-III - PA): Saint Vincent College is looking to fill open dates: September 3, 2016 (preferably home) and a reciprocal date of September 2, 2017. Contact Head Coach Ron Dolciato if interested at ron.dolciato@stvincent.edu.

Kentucky: Per Kyle Tucker who covers Kentucky, Mark Stoops spoke directly with Jim Harbaugh related to Harbaugh's attempt to hire away tight ends coach Vince Marrow. Tucker reports that Stoops and Marrow will sign a new three year agreement for him to remain at UK.

Prairie View (FCS - TX): Per source, University of Georgia offensive quality control Alex Jackson has accepted the offensive coordinator / offensive line position at PVAMU.

Albright College (D-III - PA): Albright College is looking for two defensive intern coaches. Compensation includes a $3,000 stipend spread over a 10-month contract plus free off-campus apartment housing and on-campus meal plan over 12 months. No other benefits are included. This is a developmental position designed for young coaches who have a strong desire to pursue college coaching as a permanent career. You will have the opportunity to coach your own position, run your own meetings and physically recruit an assigned territory. Preference will be given to guys who have a computer/video technology background with the ability to also serve as Video Coordinator. Mississippi State: Louisiana Tech defensive coordinator Manny Diaz will be the new defensive coordinator at Mississippi State per SI & ESPN reports. Mississippi State confirms the hire and notes that it is a three year agreement. Read more here.

Colorado State: Former Houston defensive line coach Ricky Logo has accepted a position at Colorado State, the school has announced.

Florida: Jim McElwain has formally announced the following coaches - Mike Summers, offensive line; Greg Nord, tight ends and special teams; Tim Skipper, running backs; Randy Shannon, associate head coach/co-defensive coordinator/linebackers; Terrell Williams, defensive line; Kirk Callahan, defensive backs; Mike Kent, director of strength and conditioning. Doug Nussmeier (offensive coordinator) and Geoff Collins (defensive coordinator) have previously been announced. Director of player personnel Drew Hughes has been retained per Derek Tyson of ESPN.

Texas Tech: Per source, Texas Tech and Houston defensive coordinator David Gibbs are attempting to finalize an agreement this morning for Gibbs to become defensive coordinator at Texas Tech. Further, Gibbs would like to bring Houston recruiting coordinator / defensive backs coach Zac Spavital with him. Our story.

East Coast Prep (MA): East Coast Prep (post grad), located in Great Barrington, Ma., is seeking three assistant coaches for the 2015 season. You will coach your own position and have off-field duties as assigned by the head coach. Compensation includes room and board as well as a stipend. This is a four-month position (August to December). We will be conducting interviews in Louisville on January 12-13. We are looking for college experience. Stanford: Despite overtures from Jim Harbaugh, sources tell FootballScoop that defensive coordinator Lance Anderson plans to remain at Stanford. Anderson was Jim Harbaugh's recruiting coordinator at both San Diego and Stanford. Clearly, the force is strong in Palo Alto these days.

Houston: Per source Houston Spring Westfield High head coach Corby Meekins will join Tom Herman's staff as tight ends coach. Fox 26 in Houston is reporting the same.

Murray State (FCS - KY): As reported last week, Chris Boone's hire as defensive coordinator at Murray State is now official. Boone comes to Murray from Samford where he coached the defensive line. Boone has previously served as defensive coordinator at Northwestern State, Jacksonville State and UT-Martin as well as other programs.
