St. Cloud State (D-II - MN): Scott Underwood has officially filled the final two vacancies on his staff. As we reported last week, Mark Sipple has now been announced as defensive coordinator, and former North Dakota head coach Chris Mussman has been added as co-offensive coordinator / quarterbacks coach.
Morgan State: Sources tell us that RPI (D-III - NY) quarterbacks coach Fred Farrier has joined the staff at Morgan State.
BYU: Former running backs coach Joe DuPaix has landed the head coaching job at Timpanogos HS (UT).
Saskatchewan Roughriders (CFL): Avon Cobourne, a seven year CFL veteran and former West Virginia running back, has joined the staff and will coach the running backs.
Quincy University (D-II - IL): Quincy University is accepting applications for an offensive graduate assistant position (WR or QB). Compensation includes tuition, housing and a stipend. Qualified candidates must apply and gain admittance into the Master’s program of Educational Leadership, Educational Counseling or Business Administration prior to being interviewed. Minimum requirements are a 3.0+ GPA and a score of 380+ on the MAT. Stony Brook (FCS - NY): Stony Brook is seeking to hire a full-time defensive line coach. Must have a minimum of 3 years coaching experience at the FCS level or higher. No phone calls please. Nicholls State (FCS - LA): Head coach Charlie Stubbs has announced the additions of Charles Boyd (ILBs), and Jake Olson (OLBs). Boyd worked as a special teams analyst and assistant director of player personnel last season at Indiana, and Olsen previously coached the defensive line at Valley City State (NAIA - SD). Also, offensive line coach Matt Clark has added the role of recruiting coordinator for the program.
Central Washington: Per source, former Army and Cal Poly defensive coordinator Payam Saadat has been hired as the defensive coordinator on Ian Shoemaker's staff.
Adams State: We are told that Adams State is no longer accepting applicants for the receiver position. Thank you for all of the interest.
Wagner: Sources tell us that Stevenson University (D-III - MD) outside linebackers coach Sam McGrath has accepted a position at Wagner working with the defensive line.
How many receivers coaches could run a 4.8 40?
Cleveland Browns: Former Texas Tech and Toledo grad assistant Ryan Downard has joined the Browns staff as a defensive coaching intern.
