Mississippi State: Scott Sallach has moved back to tight ends (he had moved to coordinator of scouting briefly when Billy Gonzales was hired; but now that Tim Brewster has left, he is back on the field). 

Better dancer, Les Miles or Frank Beamer? 

James Madison: Former Virginia Tech assistant Mike O'Cain has now officially joined the staff at James Madison as offensive coordinator / quarterbacks. 

Idaho: Offensive coordinator / receivers coach Kris Cinkovich has added the title of assistant head coach.

Northern State (D-II - SD): Northern State University, an NCAA Division II Institution and a member of the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference, is taking applications for a Graduate Assistant position beginning summer, 2013. Compensation includes tuition waiver, stipend and other on-campus opportunities for income. Responsibilities include coaching a position group, practice/game preparation, on-and-off campus recruiting, summer camps, video and all other aspects of the football program. Bluefield College (NAIA - VA): Bluefield College has 2 part time openings. Part time Defensive Line Coach and part time Tight End or Running Back Coach. Pay is $4,000. Low rent Housing and some meals are provided. Other duties may be assigned depending upon experiences. Starting date is July 1. Lindsey Wilson (NAIA - KY): Sources tell us that former Ball State tight end Aaron Mershman has been hired to coach the tight ends at Lindsey Wilson College.

The NCAA passed a pair of rules changes and upheld another divisive rule on Monday.

Savannah State (FCS): Head coach Steve Davenport will also serve as offensive coordinator.

Evangel University (NAIA - MO): Evangel has filled their open positions with the additions of Dan Wernick, former Winona State receivers coach, to coach the wide receivers, alumnus Todd Drury to coach the defensive line (who coached the linebackers at Midland University last season), and Branson HS assistant Edward Sands to coach the defensive backs.

Arizona State: LSU director of player personnel Sherman Morris has accepted a similar role at Arizona State. Sources tell us Morris' title will be assistant athletic director for recruiting. 

Balwin Wallace (D-III - OH): Baldwin Wallace has a defensive backs job open. Description: Under the direct supervision of the Head Football Coach, works with Coordinator to oversee, instruct, and implement the Defensive strategies, goals, and philosophy of the BW football program as determined by the head coach. This position is available immediately. Georgetown (FCS): Kevin Kelly has announced a couple new assignments on his coaching staff. Thurston Childrey will now coach the receivers after coaching the defensive backs and outside linebackers his first two seasons with the program, and Alex Kolt will now coach the defensive line after previously serving as assistant offensive line / tight ends coach.
