Hiram (D-III - OH): Hiram has an opening for a defensive intern. The position will include a small stipend, room and board. This position will assist the head coach in all facets of the sports program including, but not limited to, coaching a defensive position, the development and implementation of individual fundamental skills, recruiting and retaining quality young men and athletes. Requirements: Bachelor's degree. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. Prior playing or coaching experience at the college/university or professional level is preferred. Flexibility is required for scheduled practices and competition during the season. The Apprentice School (D-III - VA): The Apprentice School is looking to host a scrimmage on August 28th or 29th, and also has a 2015 opening for a D-III game on October 10th or 31st. Would prefer a home game. Interested programs can contact associate AD D. Mark Tomlin at

Webber International (NAIA - FL):Webber International University is looking for a game September 26th or October 3rd for 2015 with corresponding dates in 2016. Please contact head coach Kelly Scott at if interested.

UW-La Crosse (D-III): Andrew Gough has been added to the staff as an offensive grad assistant (RBs), and three interns have been added to the staff in Spencer Capitani (assisting with corners), Ryan Bright (assisting with the tight ends), and student intern Mitch Hawkins (assisting with linebackers),

Alabama A&M: Head coach James Spady has announced a number of adjustments to his staff.Marlon Watson has joined the staff as defensive backs / nickels coach, defensive coordinator Reggie Johnson will coach the defensive line and be assisted by Brent Pradia, who will also coach the linebackers and coordinate special teams and Matt Sanders will continue to coach the defensive backs and serve as recruiting coordinator. On offense, assistant head coach Andy Fuller will coach the tackles and tight ends, and wide receivers coach Ashley Lelie will add the title of pass game coordinator. Offensive coordinator / offensive line coach Phil Dorn will continue to be the primary playcaller, and Willie Totten will continue to coach the quarterbacks / running backs.

Coe College (D-III - IA): Former Coe College offensive lineman Charlie Goetzinger is joining the staff, per source. Goetzinger coached the offensive line at Jefferson HS (Cedar Rapids, IA) the past four seasons.

UW-La Crosse (D-III - WI): The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse seeks applications for the full-time position of assistant football coach (defense) / Director of Sports Performance Center. The position is being split 60/40. The Director of Sports Performance Center position is a 60%, 12-month contract and will serve as the director of the Sports Performance Center and be one of three strength and conditioning coaches employed by UW-L Athletics. A national strength certification is a required qualification for this position. The assistant football coach position is 40% and a 9-month contract. The individual should possess the skills and experiences necessary to serve as a position coach on the UW-L football coaching staff, on the defensive side of the football. Bethel College (NAIA - KS): Morris Lolar has been hired as the Thresher's new head coach. Lolar previously served as the defensive coordinator at Independence CC (KS).

Penn State: Per source, UTSA defensive grad assistant Ryan Smith is joining the staff as a defensive grad assistant working with the defensive backs. Smith worked with the corners at UTSA.

Cleveland Browns: The NFL has suspended Ray Farmer for four games for using his cell phone during games during the 2014 season (a.k.a Text-gate), and Farmer will also be fined $250,000.

Atlanta Falcons: The Falcons are being fined $350,000 and will lose a fifth-round pick in the 2016 NFL Draft for piping in crowd noise to the stadium the past two years. Also, team President Rich McKay has been suspended from serving on the Competition Committee beginning April 1st, and can apply for reinstatement no sooner than June 30th.

Southern Arkansas (D-II): Southern Arkansas is seeking an offensive grad assistant to work with the running backs. Send resume and references to coach Landon Keopple at

SUNY-Maritime (D-III): Per source, Saj Thakkar has joined the staff as a full-time assistant coach and will also serve as director of football operations. Thakkar was a grad assistant working with the running backs and special teams coordinator last season at Fitchburg State (D-III - MA).

Stanford: Per source, Stanford has hired Eric Sanders (DL) and TJ Rushing (DBs) in quality control roles. Sanders spent the past five years with the Oakland Raiders in a quality control capacity, and Rushing spent last season coaching the corners at Northern Arizona.

Maine: Per source, tight ends coach / recruiting coordinator Shawn Demaray has added the title of special teams coordinator for offense and will handle duties on the punt, kickoff return, and PAT/FG units.

Louisville: Per source, former Woodbridge HS (VA) head coach Karibi Dede has joined the Louisville staff as a defensive quality control coach.

Fort Valley State (D-II - GA): Fairley HS (Memphis, TN) head coach Rod "Mudd" Williams has the joined the staff as running backs coach, per source.

Northern Illinois: Adam Siwicki, who was the defensive coordinator at University of St. Francis (NAIA - IL) last season, has been named defensive line grad assistant and Nick Brautigam (who assisted with the defensive backs last season) has been promoted to defensive grad assistant, per source.

Northern State (D-II - SD): Northern State University is accepting applications for a full-time assistant football coach coaching the defensive secondary. Responsibilities: Primary duties include coaching the defensive backs and having a major role in special teams coaching. Position will include, but not limited to: conducting daily defensive backs meetings, planning and coordinating individual and group practice drills, identifying and diagraming opponents passing plays, overseeing the academic progress of position group, and scripting and formulating practice plans. Position will have a full-time recruiting area, experience in recruiting on and off-campus is preferred and will be a major part of the position. Position will include other duties assigned by the head coach. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree required. Master's degree preferred. Minimum of three years playing and/or coaching defensive backs is required. Application: Review of applications will begin immediately.
