Alabama A&M: Reggie Johnson has now officially been named defensive coordinator for James Spady's staff. Johnson is the former UAB defensive coordinator.
Georgetown (FCS - DC): The school has announced the hiring of Michael Neuberger as offensive coordinator. He spent the 2013 season as running backs/tight ends coach at Cornell, and coached wide receivers at Georgetown in 2012.
Carolina Panthers: Longtime NFL coach John Ramsdell has been hired as a senior offensive assistant.
Hutchinson CC (KS): Offensive coordinator/running backs coach Josh Gooch has resigned to pursue an opportunity outside of coaching.
UCLA: McMurry (D-II - TX) receivers/special teams coordinator/recruiting coordinator Evan Burk has joined the UCLA staff as an offensive assistant.
Colby College (D-III - ME): Former Connecticut player and assistant Shane Fogarty has been named offensive coordinator at Colby College.
St. Scholastica (D-III - MD): St. John's offensive coordinator/associate head coach Kurt Ramler has been named head coach at St. Scholastica.
Frostburg State (D-III - MD): Sources tell us John Kelling has been hired as defensive coordinator. He spend the past two seasons as the defensive coordinator at the University of Mary, and six seasons before that as defensive coordinator at North Dakota.
Webber International (NAIA - FL): Defensive backs coach Kiawaukee Thomas has been named head coach at Ruskin High School in Kansas City, Mo.
Beloit College (D-III - WI): New head coach Seth Duerr has announced the following additions - Jeremy Warren, offensive coordinator/quarterbacks; Jake Marshall, wide receivers coach/recruiting coordinator; Kyle Hansgen, defensive line coach; and Matt Lee, offensive line coach. Michael Wilson remain on from the previous staff.
Upper Iowa (D-II): St. Cloud State (D-II - MN) grad assistant, and former Upper Iowa quarterback, Ben Curran has been named receivers coach.
McMurry (D-III - TX): With head coach Mason Miller departing for the Tarleton State staff, sources tell us defensive coordinator Kendall Roberson will be the interim head coach. Word we're hearing is that either Roberson or offensive coordinator Chase Holbrook has the best shot to be named the full-time head coach. Will update when more becomes clear.
Wisconsin-River Falls (D-III):UW-River Falls is looking to fill an open date for the 2015 season with the possibility of extending the contract even further. They are open Week 1 (Sept. 5) and Week 4 (Sept. 26). Preferably a home game, but willing to negotiate. Riverside (CC - CA): Per source, Greg Hoyd will be the new linebackers coach at Riverside.
Norfolk State (FCS - VA): In addition to the hiring of Donald Hill-Eley as offensive coordinator/wide receivers coach, Norfolk State has added Gordon Gregory as quarterbacks coach.
Morrisville State College (D-III - NY): Morrisville State College located in Morrisville, N.Y. (30 miles southeast of Syracuse) is seeking applicants for a Restricted Earnings assistant coaching position. Preferred candidates will have playing and/or coaching experience at LB or DB, as well as on special teams. Responsibilities include (but are not limited to): Coaching your own position, academic monitoring of student-athletes, practice and game film breakdown (HUDL), as well as the successful recruitment of qualified and competitive student-athletes in your assigned recruiting area. Compensation package includes: $5,000 stipend, on-campus housing, some meals, plus other opportunities to supplement income within the athletic and/or academic support departments. In addition, because of employment within SUNY, this position is entitled to receive a tuition waiver for one graduate class per semester at any other SUNY institution (preferably online classes). Delaware (FCS): Head coach Dave Brock has formally announced the hiring of Eddie Allen as special teams coordinator/tight ends coach and the promotion of defensive line coach Dennis Dottin-Carter to co-defensive coordinator.
