Our condolences are with the family of Florida head coach Will Muschamp, who lost his father (Herbert Larry Muschamp) last week. Please keep the Muschamp family in your prayers.

Brown: Todd Parsons has joined the staff as quarterbacks coach. Parsons served as the wide receivers and special teams coordinator at Assumption College (D-II - MA) last season.

Jim Tressel: Coach Tressel told a reporter today that after 38 years of coaching, that he no longer sees himself returning the the sideline, according to Cleveland.com. Tressel is a candidate for the President positions at Youngstown State and Akron.

Washington State: Washington State is no longer accepting applicants for their vacant defensive grad assistant position. Thank you for the overwhelming interest.

Claremont-Mudd-Scripps (D-III - CA): CMS has a full time opening for a special teams coordinator / offensive line coach. See this link for more details, and how to apply.

Sul Ross State (D-III - TX): Sul Ross State University is accepting applications for multiple GA positions. The grad assistants will coach a position group and assist with other aspects of the program as assigned by the head coach. The GAs will receive monthly stipend and in-state tuition rates. Bachelor’s degree and admission to graduate program required. Experience playing or coaching wide receivers, linebackers, or defensive line preferred. Position starts August 1st . Washington State: Washington State is now accepting applications for a defensive graduate assistant football position that will be effective immediately. This is an on the field coaching position. Candidates must have a Bachelor’s Degree, intercollegiate football experience (preferably with defensive back coaching experience), and qualify for admission into Washington State University’s graduate program. Chicago Bears: Navarro College (JC - TX) running backs / tight ends coach / recruiting coordinator Josh Moore has accepted the assistant to the head coach position with the Bears.

Augustana (D-III - IL): Augustana College has an opening for an offensive intern for the 2014-15 school year beginning August 1 and ending May 31. The position includes a $10,000 coaching stipend and we are looking for the possibility of partnering with a Residence Life position that includes housing in a residence hall, a partial meal plan, and an additional stipend of $10,000. No benefits. The coaching position will be determined based on experience. Experience with option football preferred. Position requires a Bachelor's degree and a positive background check. Concordia-Chicago (D-III): Former offensive line coach / recruiting coordinator Eric Hennessy has accepted the head coaching job at Newington HS (CT).

Becker College (D-III - MA): Becker College has 2 coaching openings on defense and 1 on offense. All positions pay $7,000 with no benefits. Housing and meals are included. Applicants will be required to coach own position group, recruit a geographic area, manage video upload and breakdown (HUDL) and take general direction from the Head Coach and Associate Head Coach daily. Bachelor’s degree required, masters a plus. Looking for applicants who are extremely motivated and know that coaching is their career. Experience in strength and conditioning is a plus.
