Norfolk State: Our sources tell us Paul Macklin will move from wide receivers to running backs. Defensive assistant C.J. Fayton will move from defensive assistant to wide receivers.

Vanderbilt: We have just learned that running backs coach Des Kitchings is taking over as offensive coordinator. Jimmy Kiser will continue to coach the quarterbacks.

University of Minnesota: Our sources tell us that Montreal Allouettes head coach Marc Trestman is indeed interested in the Minnesota head coaching job. Also, Minnesota AD Joel Maturi has hired Parker Executive Search firm to assist in the process.

Kansas: There is a report out of Tulsa that Tulsa athletic director Bubba Cunningham is the leading candidate for the Kansas athletic director position.

Quincy University: has an opening available for a defensive graduate assistant for the football program beginning in January of 2011. The position will include room and board, tuition, and a meal plan. A stipend for this position will be offered in the fall of 2011. Applicant must be accepted to Quincy University’s graduate program before the interview process can begin. Minority candidates strongly encouraged to apply.
