Coach Ed Davis has passed away following a brief battle with cancer. Your continued thoughts and prayers for the family are appreciated. 

Malone University (D-II –OH): Malone University in Canton, Ohio is looking to fill open dates in 2014 and 2015. We are looking for an away game Nov. 1, 2014 and a home game in Oct. 31, 2015. Please contact Eric Hehman ( if interested.

Rick Neuheisel: The former Colorado, Washington and UCLA head coach and current Pac-12 Networks analyst told the Birmingham Monday Morning Quarterback Club he "absolutely" wants to coach again. 

USC: A report from CBS out of Chicago stated that Lovie Smith interviewed with USC last week. His son, Matt, who works for IMG responded publicly that the report is false and that he has not interviewed. 

College Football Playoff: The Playoff announced today that Arkansas athletics director Jeff Long will serve as the selection committee's chairman. 

USC: Interim head coach Ed Orgeron announced after practice yesterday that SEC coaching veteran Pete Jenkins has joined the staff and has been coaching the defensive line.

Utica College (D-III - NY): Utica College is in need of a home contest on 9/5/2015 (Week 1) or 9/12/2015 (Week 2). Seeking multiple year contract vs. regional opponent. Contact Blaise Faggiano, Head Football Coach,

Hampton: Michael Villagrana, who had been serving as the special teams coordinator and recruiting coordinator, is now serving as Hampton's offensive coordinator. Glen Ferebee, who was offensive coordinator, is no longer with the staff. 

Mary Hardin-Baylor (D-III - TX):The UMHB Football team is looking for games for the 2014 and 2015 seasons. We have 3 dates for the 2014 season and looking for 2 games (1 Home, 1 Away). The 2014 dates are September 6th, October 4th, October 11th. We have 4 dates open for the 2015 season and looking for 3 games (1 Home, 2 Away).
