Please join us in praying for former Western Kentucky head coach Jimmy Feix who passed away on Sunday. Feix took over the program in 1968 and won 106 games and six conference titles in 16 seasons.

Stony Brook (FCS - NY): Stony Brook is in search of a full-time video coordinator. See more at DFO Scoop.

Washington State: Special teams coach Eric Russell has been let go, and offensive QC Eric Mele has been promoted to a full-time assistant role.

Troy: Larry Blakeney stated this morning that he doesn't anticipate having any significant role in identifying the next head coach. He will, however, serve as a special assistant to the athletics director, AD John Hartwell announced. Hartwell said Troy will form an "advisory committee" of former players and business leaders, and would like to have a new coach in place by Dec. 15.

What Troy should have in mind its looking for its next head coach.

Syracuse: Scott Shafer has released a statement that quarterbacks coach Tim Lester will become his new offensive coordinator. George McDonald will now coach the receivers exclusively.

SMU: Mack Brown has reportedly been contacted by SMU representatives according to a report from his attorney Joe Jamail to the Austin American Statesman. Mack publicly said last week he has not been contacted by anyone and would wait until December to make a decision to return to coaching. Here's our take.
