Jack Cristil, the voice of Mississippi State football program from 1953-2011, has passed away at 88. Cristil called a total of 636 Bulldog football games.

SMU: Head coach June Jones will resign, according to Bill Nichols of the Dallas Morning News and Jones' agent Leigh Steinberg. Defensive coordinator Tom Mason will serve as interim head coach. More details here.

Lawrence University (D-III - WI): Head coach Mike Barthelmess has resigned. Co-offensive coordinator / offensive line coach Chris Harris has been tabbed interim head coach. A national search has begun for a new head coach.

The NCAA has announced it has restored Penn State's postseason eligibility and revoked its scholarship sanctions beginning with the 2015 signing class.

Lincoln University (D-II - MO): Per source, defensive coordinator Damon Frenchers has been let go.

Pace University (D-II - NY): Pace University is looking to fill a home game Saturday September 5th, 2015. Looking to fill the open date with a D-II or D-III team. This is just a 1 game deal for the 2015 season, no 2016 date available. Interested programs can contact head coach Andy Rondeau at
