South Dakota (FCS): Brett Harvey has been hired as the offensive line coach. Harvey spent the 2010 season as the offensive line coach at Fort Hayes State (KS).

Texas Southern: There is a report coming out of Houston that Texas Southern is down to three finalists: interim head coach Kevin Ramsey, Shaw University head coach Darrell Asberry and one other person.

Beloit College (D-III - WI): Offensive coordinator Ethan Pole has decided to pursue opportunities outside of football for family reasons. 

Rochester Community and Tech: Offensive coordinator Kyle Barnes and defensive coordinator Todd Miller are no longer with the program. Barnes left the program to pursue other opportunities. Miller has not been with the program for several weeks now. 

Luther College (DIII - IA): Luther College, a private, liberal arts institution located in Decorah, Iowa, seeks applications for an assistant football coaching position. Specific duties will include coaching the offensive line, helping develop the offensive scheme, evaluating player performance, recruiting prospective student-athletes, academic monitoring, and student-athlete development and mentoring. The successful candidate will also teach various courses in the HPE program. Qualifications for the position include: 1) Bachelor’s Degree required, Master’s Degree preferred. 2) five years of successful college or high school coaching experience with an understanding of no-huddle and zone run concepts, 3) familiarity with video editing systems, and 4) relevant teaching and recruiting experience. Screening will begin immediately and continue until the position is filled. Wayne State: Paul Winters' extension is through 2016. 

South Dakota School of Mines: We have learned that Portland State special teams coordinator Stacy Collins will be the new head coach at South Dakota School of Mines. 

ESPN: "Craig James has decided to run for the U.S. Senate. He will no longer work for ESPN."

Saint Anselm College: seeking one full time football intern. The candidate should be on the east coast, or have east coast ties, and be willing to take the position and start as soon as possible. The internship program is designed to provide coaches with a rich blend of coaching and administrative experience at a competitive NCAA, Division II private college. This, administrative, full-time position includes a salary between $17,000-$24,000 and full benefits with the following job duties: coaching their own position (Offensive Line), practice planning, scouting, video analysis, skill and team instruction, all phases of recruiting and responsibilities as assigned by the head coach. Minimum of two years coaching experience with the offensive line preferred. Minority applications are strongly encouraged. NO meals or lodging available. NO Education Benefits available. Oklahoma State: Mike Gundy made some very smart remarks today and then the internet took his joke and ran with it

South Dakota: We hear Jason Petrino will be named defensive coordinator at South Dakota. Petrino was the DC at Central Oklahoma last year....and yes, we believe he is cousins with Bobby, Paul and all.

Fordham: We hear Chris Mosley has accepted the defensive line job at Fordham. Mosley coached the offensive line at Saint Anselm this past season and spent the two seasons before that with the Tampa Bay Bucs. 

Claremont Mudd Scripps (DIII - CA): Offensive line and strength coach Mike Nahl has accepted a grad assistant position at Florida Tech.

Southern Miss: We have learned that Ellis Johnson will be named head coach. 

Middle Tennessee: Defensive line coach John Palmero has resigned. 

Illinois: We have learned that Toledo co-defensive coordinator Mike Ward will join Tim Beckman's staff as well.

Tulsa: Head coach Bill Blankenship has announced that director of high school relations Clint Rountree will coach the running backs in the bowl game. The position came open with Holman Wiggins took the same position at Memphis. 

Akron: We hear that Wayne State head coach Paul Winters has agreed to a significant extension that will keep him at Wayne State. We have not checked with our sources today; but we have to believe this means Scot Loeffler will be the next head coach at Akron. 

Central Florida: We have learned that Jim Fleming has joined the staff as linebackers coach.

Delta State: Several, and by that we mean a lot, of our viewers have reached out to us today to let us know that Delta State administration likely will also reach out to North Alabama assistant head coach / co-defensive coordinator Chris Willis. Willis coached at Delta State back when they won the national championship, knows the area very well and is an excellent recruiter as well. 

Florida: Will Muschamp stated this morning that Brian White is a candidate for the OC position...says Gator Bowl prep is part of the evaluation. 

Notre Dame: We hear that Brian Kelly might opt to move Chuck Martin to offensive coordinator. Not set yet; but a possibility. 

Wayland Baptist (NAIA - TX): We hear that Bobby Keefner will be rejoining head coach Butch Henderson at Wayland Baptist. 

North Carolina: We have learned that Vic Koenning and Dan Disch will both be joining Larry Fedora's staff on the defensive side of the ball. We also have learned that Ole Miss associate head coach Gunter Brewer will be joining the staff as well. 

Illinois: We have learned that Toledo tight ends coach / recruiting coordinator Alex Golesh will be joining Tim Beckman's staff. 

Houston: We hear that Boise State offensive coordinator Brent Pease interviewed this morning for the job. We continue to hear that the administration is very high on Sonny Dykes as well. 

Ferris State (D-II - MI): A couple of names that we hear the administration has spoken with are Tony Annese, Grand Rapids CC head coach, and Ralph Munger, head coach at Rockford High. 

Indiana: We hear North Dakota State receivers coach Kenni Burns is in the mix to join Kevin Wilson's staff...and while we're on North Dakota State...has anyone noticed the job being done by defensive coordinator Scottie Hazelton? Stellar.

Montana Western (NAIA): Montana Western has a receivers restricted earnings position available. Compensation is room, board and stipend. Please email resume to head coach Ryan Nourse (r_nourse@umwestern.edu). No phone calls please. 

UAB: Garrick McGee stated this morning that he will not retain defensive coordinator Tommy West or receivers coach Tim Bowens.

Hawaii: Sources close to the process tell us the decision makers are very impressed with Dirk Koetter. 

Delta State: It's awfully early on this one; but we hear one guy the administration will certainly speak with is ULL assistant head coach / tight ends / recruiting coordinator Reed Stringer. Stringer played on the 2000 Delta State team that won the national championship and served as a grad assistant there as well. He spent most of the last decade recruiting the state of Mississippi.
