Tennessee Titans: Hartford Colonials quarterbacks coach Dave Ragone has accepted the wide receivers job with the Titans. Also, assistant defensive backs coach Tim Hauck will not return to the staff. We hear Kentucky assistant Steve Brown is a candidate to replace Hauck.

Albright College: Our sources tell us that CW Post football operations intern Ross Grimm has accepted the running backs job. We hear Victor Brown is moving from running backs to tight ends and will add the title of run game coordinator.

Stanford: Stanford is no longer accepting applicants for the defensive intern position.

Tennessee Titans: The Titans have hired Elizabeth HS (NJ) head coach Chet Parlavecchio as assistant linebackers coach.

Cincinnati Bengals: Paul Guenther will now serve as the assistant defensive backs / assistant special teams coach. Guenther previously served as assistant linebackers / assistant special teams coach.

Tampa Bay Storm: We have confirmed that Gibbs HS coach Donnie Abraham has accepted the defensive backs job with the Tampa Bay Storm.

Eastern Michigan: Offensive line coach Kurt Anderson has added the title of run game coordinator. We have also learned that DeSoto HS (TX) assistant Courtney Sterling has accepted the defensive quality control job.

Miami Dolphins: The Dolphins have hired Bryan Cox as the team's pass rush coach.

Cincinnati Bengals: Philadelphia Eagles assistant offensive coordinator James Urban has accepted the wide receivers job with the Bengals. Urban coached the quarterbacks for the Eagles.

Illinois: Running backs coach DeAndre Smith has received a $45,000 raise to $180,000 after Illinois matched an offer from Indiana. Offensive line coach Joe Gilbert has received a $15,000 raise to $215,000. Quarterbacks coach Jeff Brohm received an $18,000 raise to $190,000. Outside linebackers coach Ron West received a $10,000 raise to $200,000. Defensive line coach Keith Gilmore received a $12,000 raise to $172,000. Tight ends coach Chip Long jumped $5,250 to $110,250. Each assistant was given a 2-year deal.

Georgia: Offensive line coach Will Friend will earn $200,000. Inside linebackers coach Kirk Olivadotti will earn $250,000. Both coaches agreed to one-year contracts.

Holmes Community College (MS): Mike McCarty accepted the offensive coordinator / quarterbacks job at Holmes CC. McCarty served as the offensive coordinator / quarterbacks coach at Bryant University this past season.

Columbia University: Our sources tell us that Bryant University defensive line coach Chris Woods has accepted the defensive coordinator / defensive line job at Columbia.

UCF: We have just learned that Bethune-Cookman offensive coordinator Danny Barrett has accepted the running backs job at UCF.

Grambling State: Our sources have just told us that Doug Williams has accepted the head coaching job at Grambling State. Williams was serving as the GM of the Virginia Destroyers (UFL).

SMU: What are you hearing regarding the special teams job?

Texas State: We hear Dennis Franchione's contract is 5-years at $350,000 per year.

Memphis: We hear Georgia Southern defensive grad assistant Philip Bailey accepted the offensive grad assistant job at Memphis.

Bucknell: Defensive coordinator Clayton Carlin has added the title of assitant head coach. He will also move from linebackers to defensive backs. Ross Pennypacker moves to linebackers.

New Orleans Saints: Assistant defensive backs coach Tony Oden has been promoted to defensive backs coach.

CoachComm: Regional Sales Manager (primary markets: Houston, San Antonio and Austin) will have responsibilities of handling high school and collegiate customer base with focus on selling CoachComm’s Headset, Video, and Software solutions. Ideal Candidate will have network of connections in coaching and athletic administration @ both the high school and collegiate level. Midwestern State University: (NCAA Division II/ Lone Star Conference) is currently seeking an Offensive Coordinator/ Quarterbacks Coach. Gardner-Webb: Our sources tell us that Troy Nelson has been retained and will now serve as the director of player development.

LSU: We are told that Les Miles has interest in former Miami (FL) defensive coordinator John Lovett for the special teams coordinator job.
