Michigan State: Athletic director Mark Hollis has agreed to a rolling 5 year contract that will pay him a base salary of $600,000 per year.

Southern Virginia (D-III): Southern Virginia, located in south western Virginia, is moving from NAIA to NCAA DIII in 2013 and has open dates, both home and away, in 2013 and 2014. Most dates are currently available. NCAA D-III and / or NAIA opponents. West Virginia Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (D-II): Nine members of the WVIAC have decided to withdraw from the league to form a new regional all-sports conference that will eventually consist of 12 schools. The schools that have contacted league commissioner Barry Blizzard of their intentions include; University of Charleston, Concord University, Fairmont State University, Glenville State College, Seton Hill University, Shepherd University, West Liberty University, West Virginia State University, and West Virginia Wesleyan.

Ohio State: Multiple outlets have reported some interesting bonus details in Urban Meyer's contract. After the postseason ban is over following this season, Meyer can earn an automatic one year extension and $100,000 bonus for winning the Big Ten title game or having the most (or tied for the most) Big Ten wins. Also, $50,000 will be due if the annual grade point average is 3.0, $100,000 if it reaches 3.3 and $150,000 if it hits 3.5. An additional $250,000 is due for finishing in the top two of the BCS final standings, and $150,000 if they finish between #3 and #10.

American International College (D-II - MA): Mike Wood is the new offensive coordinator / quarterbacks coach at AIC. Wood previously coached the tight ends at UMass from 2006-2010.

Northern Michigan (D-II): Northern Michigan University is seeking an Offensive Assistant / video coordinator. The position is a 9 month appointment that pays $9,000. Please email resume and references to football@nmu.edu.

Carroll University (D-III - WI): Carroll University in Waukesha, WI has an Offensive graduate assistant position open. Position will coach WR and some special teams. Midwestern State (D-II - TX): Midwestern State University is currently seeking a Graduate Assistant/Restricted Earnings Football Coach. The position includes stipend, possible housing and tuition assistance for graduate school. Coaching responsibilities include; but not limited to, outside linebackers. Additional responsibilities include all aspects of the football program. Experience playing or coaching linebackers or defensive backs preferred. Knowledge of Webb Video Editing system preferred. Texas A&M Kingsville: We hear Northeastern Oklahoma A&M receivers coach Steven Thrash accepted the receivers job at Texas A&M Kingsville.

University of Indianapolis: Defensive line coach Kenny-Ray Augustus will be participating in the Bill Walsh Minority Fellowship program, working with Ron Rivera of the Carolina Panthers for the second time. Augustus also participated in the program with Rivera when he was with San Diego back in 2010.

Arizona State: We hear that defensive quality control coach Brian Michalowski will be promoted to the other defensive grad assistant position on staff come August 1st.
