Northern Illinois: Offensive coordinator Mike Dunbar's duties have been reassigned so he can focus on his ongoing battle with cancer. Our prayers are with him. Head coach Dave Doeren says that Dunbar's respsonsibilities will be divided between offensive line coach / run game coordinator Rod Carey and fullbacks / tight ends coach Joe Tripodi. 

Notre Dame: Notre Dame's director of player development and engagement Ernest Jones was hospitalized upon their return from Dublin. Reports are that Jones was listed in stable condition and is now doing well.Update> We noted tonight that Jones' returned to work today and is doing well. 

Houston: Tony Levine has announced that offensive coordinator Mike Nesbitt has "resigned". Running backs coach Travis Bush will take over as offensive coordinator and will call the plays. Director of player personnel Ken McClintock will move up to running backs coach. Bush, who will now coach the quarterbacks as well as call the plays, called the plays as offensive coordinator at UTSA last season. Houston lost at home 30-13 to Texas State on Saturday. 

Kansas State: The University announced that Bill Snyder and his full staff have received new contracts with raises. Snyder's $250,000 raise bumps him up to $2.2 million / year now (with a five year evergreen contract). Each of the assistants were given 20% raises according to the announcement.
