Former UW-Whitewater head coach Forrest Perkins passed away Saturday at age 94. The Warhawks' stadium is named after Perkins, who led the program for 29 years and retired as the second-winningest coach in Division III.
Missouri State (FCS): Missouri defensive coordinator Dave Steckel will be named Missouri State's head coach on Sunday according to Lyndal Scranton of the Springfield (Mo.) News-Leader. We are of the understanding that this hasn't been finalized yet but could happen tomorrow.
Texas A&M: Darrell Wyatt is at A&M today interviewing for the vacant receivers position per Billy Liucci. Wyatt last served as co-offensive coordinator/wide receivers coach at Texas on Mack Brown's staff.
