Virginia Tech: Frank Beamer has undergone a minor medical procedure and will likely return for the Hokies' to-be-determined bowl game, according to Thayer Evans of Sports Illustrated. Evans also reports Virginia Tech is set to announce Beamer will return for a 29th season in 2015.

Kansas: Per source, David Beaty also plans to retain Louie Matsakis (role to be determined). So, Bowen, Mitchell and Matsakis will be retained. We understand the rest of the full-time assistants have been released.

Texas Tech: The school has announced that defensive line coach John Scott, Jr., has resigned.

St. Joseph's (D-II - IN): Offensive line coach Dan Day has been promoted to head coach.

Georgia Tech: Georgia Tech has announced a four-year extension for head coach Paul Johnson, keeping him under contract through 2020. Terms were not disclosed.
