Minnesota: The Gophers have extended Jerry Kill's contract through the 2018-19 season and bumped his salary to $2.1 million. Kill made a reported $1.2 million in 2013. 

Jacksonville State (FCS - AL): Jacksonville State is seeking to add 3 graduate assistants (offense, defense, recruiting). The offensive and defensive grad assistants must be knowledgeable in Visio, film break down and data input. Faulkner (NAIA - AL): Faulkner University is currently looking for 2 Graduate Assistant Football Coaches for Defense. Primarily working with the Defensive Line and Secondary. Full Graduate Tuition will be provided. This position currently include some meals and may include a stipend. There is currently no housing available. Duties will include but not limited to film breakdown, duties assigned by the Head Coach and Coordinators, and recruiting area assigned by the recruiting coordinator. Vanderbilt: Derek Mason told a Nashville radio station Friday that suspended defensive line coach Vavae Tata will not coach this season but then added Friday night, "I went beyond what I was supposed to say. I'll just stick by my statement that he's suspended right now."
