Arkansas: Others are reporting that Chris Petersen is a candidate at Arkansas. Our sources tell us this is not the case.

Minnesota: Jerry Kill did not return to the field after halftime in today's game due to a seizure. Kill was not hospitalized.

Kentucky: CBS Sports reported that Kentucky has interviewed Florida State defensive coordinator Mark Stoops for its head coaching position.

Marshall: Defensive coordinator Chris Rippon has resigned his position, effective immediately. The Thundering Herd concluded their season Friday with a 5-7 record and a 43.1 points against average.

Tennessee: Sources tell us that Jon Gruden remains the primary target. Although we have not verified, sources tell us that Gruden, among other things, has requested a $4 million salary pool for his assistants. Not sure how that works out but we are told that Tennessee will be having discussions with Butch Jones as well.

Kentucky: Sources close to the situation tell us the meeting between Butch Jones and Kentucky administration did not go as expected by the parties. We are told "the deal was changed". Accordingly, sources tell that Butch is no longer a candidate for the job.

Arkansas: John L. Smith has officially been informed that he is being "reassigned". Will not be part of the staff moving forward. Click here for quotes from Arkansas AD Jeff Long and Smith.
