Gardner-Webb: We are hearing that Garden City CC offensive coordinator / quarterbacks coach Pete Darnell has accepted the quarterbacks job at Gardner-Webb.

Oregon State: Our sources tell us that Mike Riley has interest in Sacramento Mountain Lions wide receivers coach Charles Collins. The Beavers have a position open with the departure of Reggie Davis, who joined the San Francisco 49ers staff.

Boston College: We hear that Frank Spaziani has interest in South Florida quarterbacks coach Peter Vaas regarding the offensive coordinator job.

USC: Our sources tell us the Lane Kiffin has narrowed his search for a wide receivers coach to four candidates. We hear Wisconsin wide receivers coach DelVaughn Alexander, Sacramento Mountain Lions wide receivers coach Charles Collins, current USC offensive grad assistant / tight ends coach Kerry Colbert, and an NFL assistant.

Southern Miss: Our sources tell us Larry Fedora has filled with wide receivers job. We're trying to confirm the name. We heard early on that Fedora was considering promoting a grad assistant.

UCLA: Rocky Seto, who had reportedly accepted the UCLA defensive coordinator job earlier in the week, is apparently no longer heading to UCLA.

Alcorn State: We hear East Feliciana HS (LA) offensive coordinator Darius Matthews has accepted the wide receivers / tight ends job at Alcorn State.

Temple: Our sources tell us that San Jose State quarterbacks coach / passing game coordinator John DeFilippo has turned down the offer to become the offensive coordinator at Temple.
