IUP: We are hearing that Pitt offensive grad assistant Luke Getsy has accepted the quarterbacks job at IUP. Our source also tells us that former Pitt quarterback Rod Rutherford will join the staff as the wide receivers coach.

San Francisco 49ers: Former NFL wide receiver Bobby Engram has joined the staff as an offensive assistant working with the wide receivers.

Boston College: Our sources tell us that head coach Frank Spaziani has interviewed former Minnesota Vikings quarterbacks coach Kevin Rogers for the offensive coordinator position.

Minnesota State - Moorhead: Our sources tell us Fargo Shanley HS head coach Steve Laqua has accepted the head coaching job.

Western Carolina: We are hearing that former Idaho State corners coach Kenyon Blue has accepted the corners / intern position at Western Carolina.

Angelo State: Our sources tell us Theron Aych has accepted the quarterbacks / wide receivers / assistant head coach position at Angelo State.

AlbrightCollege: An NCAA Division III institution and a member of the highly competitive Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC), is seeking a highly motivated individual for the position of Intern Assistant Football Coach (Offense TE’s or RB’s) and Assistant Video Coordinator. Qualifications: Bachelors degree required with successful football playing and/or coaching experience, strong professional/interpersonal communication skills and organizational efficiency, outstanding character and leadership qualities a must. The successful applicant should also possess strong computer skills and a working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Power-point, and Access software. Some experience with DVSport digital editing system and/or Game Tape Exchange is a plus. Duties include coaching your own position; plan, organize, and instruct positional meetings and drills; contribute to offensive game plan; recruit your own territory and attract top quality student-athletes to attend AlbrightCollege. Administrative duties include: game week organizational tasks, including; film breakdown, opponent scouting, self-scouting, tendency reports, video cut-ups, scouting reports, assist S&C coach with weight room, assist Video Coordinator with all facets of digital editing system, oversee and counsel players on academic and social issues, and other duties as assigned by the Head Football Coach. Compensation: includes a $3,000 annual stipend paid over a 10 month contract, free off-campus housing, free meal plan in campus dining hall. No health benefits are included with this position. A two-year commitment is required from the successful applicant.
