Kansas State: Sean Snyder, who has been on staff with his father the past eight seasons most recently as the associate head coach / special teams coordinator and director of football operations, will remain on the K-State staff "in some capacity," but not as a member of the 10 man coaching staff a football spokesperson has shared with local outlet The Mercury.

Pima CC (JC - AZ): Empire HS (AZ) has hired Pima CC defensive backs coach George Kelly to be their new head coach.

McNeese State (FCS - LA): The addition of offensive coordinator Matt Mattox is now official. We originally shared the news this morning.

South Florida: Defensive ends coach Damon Cogdell and defensive backs coach Blue Adams are not expected to return, per the Tampa Bay Times.

Southern Illinois (FCS): Southern Illinois University is seeking a graduate assistant on defense who must have DV Sport experience. The candidate must be able to gain admittance into the Graduate School.Would like to conduct interviews at AFCA in San Antonio. Fort Scott CC (JC - KS): Fort Scott has an immediate opening as a LBs coach, assistant strength coach for $16k. Also comes with your own recruiting area. Kansas State: K-State has officially announced the hirings of Ted Monachino (defensive coordinator/linebackers), Brian Anderson (running backs) and Van Malone (cornerbacks). Monachino spent 2018 as a defensive analyst at Missouri, Anderson as the wide receivers coach at Illinois State and Malone as a defensive quality control at Mississippi State. Also, a key member of the North Dakota State staff turned down an opportunity at Kansas State and has elected to stay in Fargo...

McNeese State (FCS - LA): Source tells FootballScoop USF offensive line coach Matt Mattox has accepted the offensive coordinator role at McNeese working with his good friend Sterlin Gilbert. Mattox and Gilbert have worked together at EIU, Bowling Green, Tulsa, Texas, USF and now will at McNeese as well.

Azusa Pacific (D-II - CA): Run game coordinator / running backs coach Ben Buys has been named the head coach at La Salle (CA).

Thiel (D-III - PA): Per source, Albright (D-III - PA) offensive coordinator / associate head coach Mike Winslow is taking over the head coaching job at his alma mater. Winslow has spent the past 11 seasons at Albright.

Offensive Line Coach of the Year: Prior winners have selected UCF's Glen Elarbee as the 2018 FootballScoop Offensive Line Coach of the Year presented by AstroTurf.

Liberty: Sources tell FootballScoop Hugh Freeze is bringing Kent Austin in as co-offensive coordinator / quarterbacks. From 2008-10 Austin served in that same capacity at Ole Miss before becoming head coach at Cornell. He left Cornell to become head coach, general manager and vice president of football operations of the Hamilton Tiger-Cats before the 2013 season. Austin continued as head coach into the 2017 season before stepping down. He was currently advising the front office of the club.

Northern Illinois: NIU is looking to fill a Football Operations Graduate Assistant position. Operations, Video, and Recruiting experience is preferred, we are interested only in those who are pursuing a career in Football Operations (NOT coaching). This position may include skills such as logistics (travel/recruiting), recruiting management (mailings, JumpForward), football video management (DVSport), social media marketing, event planning, graphic design (Photoshop), and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Visio). Interested candidates can email a resume and cover letter including experiences with skills listed above to Dan Wolfe at dwolfe@niu.edu. MacMurray College (D-III - IL): MacMurray College is looking to fill an assistant position coaching CBs. This is an intern (no graduate school) position that pays a stipend for a 10 month period and includes housing and meals. This coach will have his own room, recruiting area and additional duty such as equipment, operations, video, etc. Candidates who have recent playing experience or coaching experience with DBs, specifically CBs are preferred. Alabama: Offensive coordinator and Broyles Award winner Mike Locksley has made a few simple additions to his play call sheet that have paid some major dividends.

Masters of Sports Administration:Upper Iowa’s MSA degree provides learners with the current theories, concepts, and learning models necessary to assume administrative, coaching & leadership roles in high school, higher education and sports business settings. The online degree is available with emphasis in Sports Management or Coaching & Leadership Eduction.
