North Texas: In addition to associate head coach/wide receivers coach Tommy Mainord's promotion to co-offensive coordinator, director of recruiting Luke Walerius has been promoted to chief of staff.

Texas Tech: Matt Wells has announced Mark Tommerdahl as associate head coach, special teams coordinator and assistant offensive line coach.

Seattle Seahawks: Ivan Lewis has been hired as head strength coach, and former Seahawks backup quarterback Austin Davis has joined the staff as an offensive assistant.

Johns Hopkins (D-III - MD): Greg Chimera has been hired as head coach. He has been the Blue Jays' offensive coordinator since 2014. He takes over for Jim Margraff, who passed away suddenly on Jan. 2.

Kentucky: UK has now made it official, Brad White has been promoted to defensive coordinator.

North Carolina Central (FCS): Morehead State defensive coordinator Devonte Edwards has joined the NCCU staff as defensive backs coach source tells FootballScoop.

Columbus Destroyers (Arena): Longtime AFL coach Matthew Sauk will be the new head coach of the Destroyers.

Tiffin (D-II - OH): Tyler Johns has joined the staff as offensive line coach. Johns coached offensive line at Ohio Dominican the past two seasons.

Texas: AD Chris Del Conte is reportedly set for a nice raise. Details here.

Miami Dolphins: Former Oakland Raiders GM Reggie McKenzie has joined the front office as a senior personnel executive.

Penn State: AD Sandy Barbour has signed an extension through Aug. 31, 2023.

Tennessee: Joe Osovet is being promoted to director of programming development to head coach, sources confirmed to FootballScoop. The Athletic first reported the move.

Minnesota: PJ Fleck has responded to Jerry Kill's verbal fireballs from earlier this week.

Michigan Tech (D-II): Source tells FootballScoop running backs coach Phil Milbrath has been promoted to special teams coordinator and will retain running backs as well.

Cincinnati: The Bengals have requested to interview New Orleans Saints defensive assistant Mike Hodges tweets Alex Marvez.

UMass: UMass Football is searching for unpaid interns. These interns will have the opportunity to receive guidance from highly respected coaches and will have the ability to gain experience while helping a program succeed. The interns will assist in scouting, gameplanning, and day-to-day operations. The position has the potential to grow into a Graduate Assistant/Quality Control position. Vanderbilt: Head coach Derek Mason has received a contract extension the University has announced. In 5 seasons after taking over from James Franklin, Mason's Commodores have won 24 games (3, 4, 6, 5 & 6). In the release (which doesn't specify the number of years of the extension), Vandy says "Mason has solidified the foundation of Vanderbilt football."

Morehead State (FCS - KY): Morehead State University is currently seeking a full-time defensive coordinator. Position includes coaching, recruiting, and administrative duties assigned by HFC. Preferred 3-5 years’ experience coaching (DB/LB) and background coaching a 3-4 defense required. Position to begin March 1. Compensation will be market value determined by experience. Texas: Tom Herman is electing to sign a handful of his assistants to one-year deals...for a rather interesting reason.

Villanova (FCS - PA): Defensive backs coach Ola Adams has been promoted to defensive coordinator, per source.

Ohio: Source tells FootballScoop that Ohio has hired Allen Rudolph, formerly of Arkansas State, as their new offensive line coach.

Michigan Tech (D-II): Per source, co-defensive coordinator / special teams coach / defensive line coach Bryan Thomas has been promoted to defensive coordinator and will now coach the linebackers.

Northern Michigan (D-II): Source tells FootballScoop that Saginaw Valley State (D-II - MI) running backs coach Dan Fodrocy has accepted the offensive coordinator job at Northern Michigan.

Princeton (FCS): Brian Flinn, who spent more than a decade at Villanova working with the receivers, has joined the staff as receivers coach and Mark Rosenbaum will transition to quarterbacks coach.

Toledo: Kevin Beard, who previously coached the wide receivers at Tennessee before joining the Toledo staff as director of player personnel and assistant recruiting coordinator last season, has been promoted to wide receivers coach and director of player development Nate Cole will now coach the running backs, per a tweet from Jordan Strack.
