Texas Tech: Oklahoma defensive backs coach Kerry Cooks is joining the staff at Texas Tech.

Tampa: The Bucs have added Chris Boniol as a specialists coach working under special teams coordinator Keith Armstrong tweets Greg Auman. Boniol had been on staff at Mississippi State.

Houston: Sources tell FootballScoop Dana is moving forward with Marquel Blackwell as co-offensive coordinator / quarterbacks and Doug Belk will have the co-defensive coordinator title. More to come soon enough...stay tuned.... and just like that Dana has announced these two moves plus: Tyron Carrier (from WVU) as assistant HC / receivers, Shannon Dawson (from Southern Miss) as offensive assistant and Blake Gideon who we shared earlier as safeties / special teams. Ryan Dorchester comes from WVU as assistant AD for football operations and Daikiel Shorts Jr. will serve as director of player development.

Miami Dolphins: Ian Rapoport tweets that the focus of Miami's search has narrowed to Patriots defensive coordinator / linebackers coach Brian Flores. Rap notes that no deal is don yet, and nothing is official, but Flores is their target. Albert Breer adds that the move is expected to become official after the Patriots season is finished.

Pittsburgh Steelers: The Steelers have now announced the addition of Teryl Austin as a senior defensive assistant working with the secondary.

Miami Dolphins: The Dolphins have completed interviews with in-house candidates Dowell Loggains (OC) and Darren Rizzo (STC) for the head coaching job.

Miami (FL): Tampa Bay Bucs assistant offensive line coach Butch Barry is expected to become the new offensive line coach for Manny Diaz, Bruce Feldman tweets.

Michigan: Boston College co-defensive coordinator Anthony Campanile is expected to join the staff as an assistant coach, per Pete Thamel.


Denver Broncos: Adam Schefter tweets that Gary Kubiak will not be Denver's offensive coordinator after all, sharing that "after lengthy discussions, Denver and Kubiak had different ideas on staffing and offensive philosophies. Both sides are going in different directions."

Baltimore Ravens: With Greg Roman moving into the offensive coordinator role Marty Morninwheg has chosen to move on, John Harbaugh has announced.

Denver Broncos: The Broncos have informed the Steelers of their intention to speak with offensive line coach Mike Munchak, whose contract is up, per Ian Rapoport.

Wyoming: Klayton Adams has been formally announced as offensive line coach.

Houston: Sources tell FootballScoop former Texas Longhorn safety Blake Gideon will be part of Dana Holgorsen's staff. Sources tell us he is expected to coach safeties and special teams. Gideon coached corners this past season at Georgia State and has previous coaching experience at Western Carolina, Florida and Auburn.

West Virginia: Matt Moore has been announced as Neal Brown's offensive line coach. Moore spent the past four seasons with Brown at Troy as offensive line coach / offensive coordinator.

Pittsburgh Steelers: Former Bengals defensive coordinator Teryl Austin has been hired as a senior defensive assistant with the secondary, per Adam Schefter.

Todd Monken: The former Bucs offensive coordinator is in the mix for offensive coordinator jobs in Green Bay and Detroit, per reports.

Cincinnati Bengals: Offensive coordinator Bill Lazor will not return, per Katherine Terrell.

Southeastern Oklahoma State (D-II): Tyler Fenwick, who spent the past six seasons leading the program at Missouri S&T (D-II), has been named head coach of the program. Fenwick led the S&T program to a 10-2 season in 2018.

Arizona State: Defensive coordinator Danny Gonzales is adding the assistant head coach title and Shaun Aguano from Chandler HS (AZ) will coach the running backs.

Cleveland Browns: Mike Priefer has agreed to join the Browns as special teams coordinator, per Tom Pelissero. Priefer perviously worked as the special teams coordinator with the Vikings.

Houston: Joseph Duarte who covers UH for the Houston Chronicle tweets this afternoon he can confirm our report that Tim Deruyter has been Dana's target for defensive coordinator. Duarte adds that Oklahoma assistant Kerry Cooks is also "being looked at for job on the defensive staff".

North Carolina: Watch Mack Brown's new coaching staff introduce themselves to their new players. Some of these guys get amped up. Pretty cool to have video of this first meeting of the staff and players.

Tampa Bay Bucs: Former USC assistant Todd McNair is joining the staff as running backs coach, per multiple reports. McNair played for Bruce Arians at Temple and coached at USC from 2004-09.

East Tennessee State (FCS): Head coach Randy Sanders and the school have announced a new five-year deal that runs through December 31, 2023, Per Knox News. This replaces the four-year deal that Sanders signed in December 2017. Sanders will continue to make $255,000 annually along with an annual stipend of $30,000. Sanders earned Southern Conference Coach of the Year honors after a 8-4 first season leading the program.

Arizona Cardinals: The Cards have announced a number of moves, including Vance Joseph as defensive coordinator, Bill Davis is joining the staff as linebackers coach, and Jeff Rodgers is being retained as special teams coordinator.

Green Bay Packers: New head coach Matt LaFleur has shared that defensive coordinator Mike Pettine will return during an appearance on Mad Dog Sports Radio.

Arizona Cardinals: Chris Mortensen tweets that Steve Sarkisian "was closing in on the OC job" on Kliff Kingsbury's staff.

North Dakota State (FCS): Per source, UW - Eau Claire (D-III - WI) head coach Dan Larsen is leaving to accept a position on the NDSU staff.

NY Jets: Adam Gase is on the verge of hiring former Browns interim head coach Gregg Williams for his defensive coordinator spot, Ian Rapoport tweets.

Cleveland Browns: Former Cardinals head coach Steve Wilks is interviewing for the defensive coordinator job, per Adam Schefter.

Liberty: Hugh Freeze has announced his coaching staff, most of which we've already reported, as follows; Kent Austin (Co-OC / QBs), Maurice Haris (Co-OC / WRs), Ben Aigamaua (TEs), Mike Brown (RBs), Sam Gregg (OL), Scott Symons (DC / safeties), Josh Aldridge (DL), Rickey Hunley (CBs), Kyle Pope (LBs), Tanner Burns (STC), and Dominic Studzinski (head football strength and conditioning.

Arizona Cardinals: The Cardinals are planning to hire former Broncos head coach Vance Joseph as their defensive coordinator, per a tweet from Josina Anderson.

SMU: Per source, AJ Ricker is being added to the staff as offensive line coach. Jamal Powell, who had been coaching the offensive line before battling health issues, is moving into an offensive analyst role to focus on getting healthy. Ricker coached the offensive line at Kansas this past season.

Northern Illinois: Steve Berkowitz tweets that Rod Carey will owe NIU an $800,000 buyout.

Temple: The Owls have now formally announced the addition of Rod Carey as their new head coach. Carey spent the past six seasons at NIU as head coach and the past ten years on the staff.

UMass: Head coach Walt Bell has formally announced the additions of Luke Paschall has been announced as assistant head coach / special teams coordinator / wide receivers coach and Aazaar Abdul-Rahim as defensive coordinator / corners coach. Paschall coached the wide receivers and special teams at UNC last season, while Abdul-Rahim spent the last three seasons working with the secondary at Maryland.

Houston: Source tells FootballScoop Dana Holgorsen has been targeting Cal defensive coordinator Tim Deruyter for his defensive coordinator position. The former Fresno State head coach previously served as defensive coordinator just up the road in College Station from 2010-11. Will update when more is clear...

Georgia: Co-offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach James Coley has been promoted to offensive coordinator. He steps in following the departure of Jim Chaney who left to become the offensive coordinator at Tennessee. Coley previously served as offensive coordinator at Miami & Florida State.

Miami: Manny Diaz has hired Alabama's Dan Enos as the 'Canes new offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach.

Austin Peay (FCS - TN): Utah offensive graduate assistant Chad Bumphis is heading to AP as wide receivers coach, per source.

Akron: La Verne (D-III - CA) assistant head coach / offensive coordinator Rich Worsell is joining the Akron staff as director of football research and analytics.

Southern Utah: Source tells FootballScoop head coach Demario Warren already has plans to fill the receivers position.

Western Michigan: Sources tell FootballScoop that Wyoming fullbacks / tight ends coach Mike Bath is leaving for the Western Michigan staff, where he will coach the running backs. Bath previously coached at Miami (OH), where he served as offensive coordinator and worked with the quarterbacks and wide receivers before being named the interim head coach to end the 2013 season.

Weber State (FCS - UT): Source tells FootballScoop Southern Utah (FCS) receivers coach Jared Ursua has accepted a role at Weber State.

UTSA: Rob Snyder is joining the staff as a quality control coach on defense, per Adam Rittenberg. Snyder previously served as a graduate assistant at Florida.

West Virginia Wesleyan (D-II): Longtime assistant Tony Testa has been named the new head coach of the program. Testa is an alum and has been a member of the staff since 2013 where he has served as offensive line coach / recruiting coordinator before adding the offensive coordinator duties heading into this season.

Chicago Bears: The Bears are interested in Chuck Pagano, the former head coach of the Colts, for their vacant defensive coordinator spot, per multiple reports.

NY Giants: Former Jets defensive coordinator Kacy Rodgers has interviewed for a senior position on the Giants staff, per Ian Rapoport.

Miami Dolphins: Dowell Loggains, the Dolphins offensive coordinator, will interview for the head coaching job today, per Ian Rapoport. Rap adds that associate head coach Darren Rizzi interviewed this morning.

UMass: Cedric Douglas is the new defensive line coach for the program. Douglas previously served as a graduate assistant coach on defense.

Utah: Andy Ludwig has now been announced as offensive coordinator / quarterbacks coach.

Army: Safeties coach John Loose has been promoted to defensive coordinator. He replaces Jay Bateman who left for UNC.

Manchester (D-III - IN): Defensive backs coach Justin Thelen, who joined the staff back in February of 2018, has left to become the head coach at Kalkaska HS (MI).

Western Michigan: Sources tell FootballScoop that defensive line coach Lou Esposito, who stepped into the interim defensive coordinator role back in mid-November following the dismissal of Tim Daoust, has been promoted to the defensive coordinator role moving forward.

Baltimore Ravens: John Harbaugh has shared that assistant head coach / tight ends coach Greg Roman will be the team's offensive coordinator moving forward. Jeff Zrebiec adds that offensive coordinator Marty Mornhinweg has been asked to remain a part of the staff in a different role. Also, Eric DeCosta will officially take over as the team's GM today, and Ozzie Newsome is expected to remain with the organization in a significant role.

Ole Miss: As we shared back on January 2nd, New Mexico offensive coordinator Calvin Magee is leaving to join the Ole Miss staff, where he will reunite with new Rebels offensive coordinator Rich Rodriguez.

Utah: Vanderbilt offensive coordinator Andy Ludwig is taking the offensive coordinator job at Utah, per the Salt Lake Tribune. We can confirm the move. Ludwig, who called the offense for four seasons at Utah from 2005-08, also has previous offensive coordinator stops at Wisconsin, San Diego State, Cal, Utah, Oregon & Fresno State.

Atlanta Legends (AAF): Yesterday we reported that offensive coordinator Michael Vick was not expected to coach this season, sources tell us that he had not been at practice all week, and the staff had moved on, deciding they would split up the play calling duties amongst themselves moving forward. A representative of the team called FootballScoop this morning and confirmed Vick has not been there all week, but said said Vick was there for the first day of training camp last week, and the team expects him to call the plays on game day.

East Mississippi CC (JC): Dustin Wilkerson has accepted the running backs / recruiting coordinator role at EMCC, per source. Wilkerson previously worked in the same role for the program from 2014-17 before leaving for a graduate assistant opportunity with the Oklahoma athletics department.

Virginia State (D-II): Tight ends coach / strength coach Trumaine Watson has been promoted to the offensive line / recruiting coordinator role for the program, per source.

Truman State (D-II - MO): Truman State has a full-time coaching opportunity available attached to an instructor position in exercise science.

ECU: Per source, VMI (FCS - VA) corners coach Tarron Williams joining the ECU staff as directoor of player development. Prior to VMI, Williams served as a defensive quality control coordinator at James Madison (FCS - VA), and previously worked with Mike Houston at Lenoir Rhyne (D-II - NC).

Montana State (FCS): Per source, Idaho linebackers coach Bobby Daly is leaving to join the Montana State staff as assistant head coach while working with a defensive position group to be determined. Prior to getting into coaching, Daly was an All-American player at Montana State.

New Mexico: With the departure of offensive coordinator Calvin Magee for Ole Miss, head coach Bob Davie shares that the Lobos will continue to be a spread offense moving forward.

UT-Chattanooga (FCS): Adam Mims will coach the wide receivers and Ricky Spradling will coach the running backs at UTC. Mims spent last season coaching the receivers at Tennessee Tech (FCS) and Spradling coached the running backs at North Greenville (D-II - SC) the last two years. Also, Zach Kramme, who spent 2018 as a player personnel assistant, has been elevated to director of recruiting.
