UConn: The Office of State Ethics in Connecticut has ruled that tight ends coach Corey Edsall, the son of head coach Randy Edsall, will be allowed to coach this fall, but that UConn violated state nepotism laws in allowing Corey to join his father's staff, according to the Hartford Courant. Ethics lawyers are recommending that Corey be allowed to coach this year because of the "potential disruption" to the UConn program if he were not allowed to coach this fall.

Connecticut state ethics board concludes Randy Edsall should not have hired his son at UConn
