19 for 19: He started coordinating college offenses in his mid-20s and led Eastern Washington to the FCS title game with a backup QB. Now Bodie Reeder is at North Texas to help the Mean Green take the final step from good to elite.

Wake Forest: Former Cornell head coach Jim Hofher has joined the staff as a defensive analyst. This is his third stint with the Demon Deacons.

Los Angeles Rams: The Rams have announced extensions for Sean McVay and GM Les Snead. Details here.

Kilgore (JC - TX): Kilgore College has an immediate opening for a defensive volunteer/intern position that will include just housing and meals. This is an entry-level position to gain experience coaching and recruiting at a Premier Junior College in the state of Texas. Bachelor’s Degree and playing experience is preferred. John Carroll (D-III - OH): John Carroll University is looking to immediately fill a Defensive Quality Control/Graduate Assistant position. Compensation is $10,000 over a 10 month contract. Graduate School a possibility to the right candidate. Responsibilities include: coaching a position group on the defensive side of the ball, scout team organization, managing a recruiting area, film breakdown/editing, and playbook drawings. Must be proficient in: Microsoft Visio, Hudl, and Excel. Chicago Bears: The Bears have announced that Cornell (FCS - NY) defensive line coach Satyen Bhakta, Stetson (FCS - FL) offensive line coach Stan Clayton, West Chester (D-II - PA) running backs coach Osagie Osunde, XFL Washington outside linebackers coach Napoleon Sykes, and XFL New York tight ends coach Chris Thompson are taking part in the team's training camp as part of the Bill Walsh Diversity Coaching Fellowship program.

Saskatchewan Roughridgers (CFL): Defensive line coach Mike Scheper has been relieved of his duties. In the team's announcement of the move they note that the existing coaching staff will work with the defensive line until a new assistant is hired.

Carroll (NAIA - MT): Carroll College has an opening for a restricted earnings defensive back coach. This person will be responsible for coaching a position; assist in game planning, film analysis and breakdown (HUDL), recruiting; and other duties assigned by the Head Coach or Coordinator. Requirements are prior experience coaching or playing defensive back, and the ability to pass a background check. Houston Baptist (FCS): Houston Baptist University, an FCS program that competes in the Southland Conference, is seeking to add a volunteer Quality Control position on special teams. Ideal candidates will have a passion for football along with a relentless work ethic, and a desire to learn. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to break into the college football profession. This position has no stipend, housing, or meals attached to it. Responsibilities are, but not limited to: opponent film breakdown, assisting with notebooks, reports, and game week preparation. Candidates should be adept at learning new technology, in addition to being proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Hudl.
