Florida: Jim McElwain has received his second 1-year extension in two years. This one bumps his salary from $4.16 million to $4.48 million and bumps his bonus structure from a possible $450,000 to $825,000.

Nichols College (D-III - MA): Nichols College has announced Tyson Bailey as the new outside linebackers coach. Bailey is a 2010 graduate of St. Anselm's College (D-II - NH), where he played inside linebacker.

WPI (D-III - MA): WPI is accepting resumes for an offensive intern position (skill experience preferred). This position will begin in August 2017 and run through April 2018. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, assisting the Offensive Coordinator with implementing game plans, coaching a skill position, film evaluation, academic support of a position group, and recruitment of qualified student-athletes into WPI and the elite level of education it offers. Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree as well as playing experience at the collegiate level. Prior experience at the college level is preferred as well as familiarity with the northeast and WPI. The position includes free housing as well as a monthly stipend between 700$-800$ per month. Philadelphia Eagles: The Eagles have hired former Ravens staffer Ian Cunningham as director of college scouting, former Colts college scouting director T.J. McCreight as a player personnel executive, Brandon Brown as assistant director of pro scouting, Matt Holland as a pro scout, Trey Brown as a player personnel executive, Jim Ward as a Midwest area scout, and Katie David as a football operations coordinator.

Carolina Panthers: The Panthers have hired Rob Hanrahan as a pro scout, David Turner as a BLESTO scout, and have named Bryan Porter as director of football operations and Mike Anderson as assistant director of football operations.

Georgia Southern: Per source, St. Lawrence (D-III - WI) offensive line coach Phil Guard has accepted an offensive graduate assistant job at Georgia Southern.

Georgetown (FCS): John Bear, who was the offensive coordinator at the University of Chicago (D-III - IL) last season, has joined the Georgetown staff as running backs coach, per source.

FAU: CJ Johnson, a former linebacker at Ole Miss, has joined the staff in a defensive grad assistant role.
