Clark Atlanta (D-II - GA): Clark Atlanta has found their new head coach, per source, and he comes from the FBS level.

Southern Miss: Graduate assistant Akeem Davis, who played in the NFL with the Redskins, is being promoted to corners coach, per the Sun Herald. Davis steps in for Eddie Hicks, who left to join the staff at Charlotte.

Central Washington (FCS): Per source, Weber State (FCS - UT) quarterbacks coach Kelly Bills is heading to Central Washington to become the offensive coordinator.

Chicago Bears: Former Vikings head coach Brad Childress is expected to join the Bears staff in an assistant / consultant role, Tom Pelissero tweets.

Akron: Tom Arth has completed his Akron staff with the official addition of seven members today including; Jonathan Cooley (DBs / Corners / Nickels), Jayden Everett (RBs), Bryan Gasser (WRs / Pass game coordinator), Claire Crosby (director of recruiting operations, Chad Pearson (strength and conditioning), Will Wiedeman (strength and conditioning assistant), and Rich Worsell (director of football research and analytics). Auburn: Offensive graduate assistant Bryce Giddens, who worked with the offensive line, has accepted the offensive line job at Valdosta HS (GA), per source.

Pac-12: Oregon AD Rob Mullens on the Pac-12's finances relative to the rest of the Power 5: "We're drifting out of range."

Auburn: Director of player personnel Stefan Schmidt's last day with the staff is today, according to 247, who adds that it's unclear if Schmidt landed another job or was forced out. Schmidt joined the staff in June of 2017 after previously serving as the assistant director of player personnel at Texas.

Northern State (D-II - SD): Northern State University is seeking applicants for a defensive graduate assistant coaching position. The successful candidate will coach outside linebackers in a 3-4 Scheme. Responsibilities include coaching a position, managing a recruiting territory, coordinating on-campus visits, hudl video, scouting reports/breakdowns and other duties assigned by the head coach. Position includes tuition waiver and stipend, with the opportunity for additional income available. Admission to the Northern State University Graduate School (minimum GPA of 2.75) is required. Playing and/or coaching experience at the collegiate level is preferred. Position begins on or around July 15, 2019. Saint Scholastica (D-III - MN): Per source, Marietta College (D-III - OH) defensive coordinator Mike DuFrane is the new defensive coordinator at St. Scholastica.

ESPN: Bill Polian, who joined the ESPN team as a front office insider back in March of 2012, has announced that he's retiring from his role with the network. Polian had worked as the GM for the Bills, Panthers, and Colts before becoming team president of the Colts from 1998-2011. He currently holds the title of Head of Football for the AAF.

Southern Miss: Jay Hopson has finalized his offensive staff with the addition of former Arkansas State outside receivers coach Chris Buckner as running backs coach and Reed Stringer, who worked in an off-field capacity last season, is being elevated to tight ends coach. They join Buster Faulkner (OC) and Ryan Stanchek (OL) who joined the staff last month.

Georgia State: Jimmy Smith, the head coach at Cedar Grove HS (GA) has been hired to coach the running backs. Smith led the Cedar Grove program to two state titles under his leadership.

Beloit (D-III - WI): Lake Forest (D-III - IL) offensive coordinator Ted Soenksen has been named head coach.

Alabama: Nick Saban is adding another former FBS coordinator to his analyst army, per report.

Lake Forest (D-III - WI): Quarterbacks coach Jim Kiernan has been promoted to offensive coordinator, per source.

Scoop 'Em Up: Former NFL wide receiver David Clowney spent the last two seasons as the wide receivers coach / tight ends coach / passing game coordinator at Howard (FCS) under Mike London and is looking for an exciting new opportunity. Clowney played his college ball at Virginia Tech under Frank Beamer being drafted by the Green Bay Packers and went on to play for the Jets and Panthers. Clowney was part of the Howard staff that beat UNLV to cap off the biggest upset in college football history (considering the point spread going into the game). Clowney has previous stops at FIU where he worked as an assistant receivers coach and offensive quality control coach, and also spent time as pass game coordinator and wide receivers coach at ASA Miami (JC - FL). Clowney is a south Florida native and has recruited Florida, Georgia, DC, Maryland and Virginia. His relationships and references include Bud Foster (Virginia Tech), Tony Ball (UTSA), Mike London (William & Mary), Frank Beamer, and Anthony Lynn (LA Chargers). Western Illinois (FCS): Per source, Tom Anthony is the new defensive coordinator for the program and Norfolk State (FCS - LA) wide receivers coach Dyrell Roberts is the new receivers coach. Anthony spent last season as the defensive coordinator at Texas Southern.

Louisiana Monroe: Offensive graduate assistant Joe Graves, who coached the running backs at Southeastern Louisiana (FCS) before joining the ULM staff, is being promoted to running backs coach, source tells FootballScoop.

D-II program names their second head coach in three months

Lake Forest (D-III - IL): Lake Forest College seeks applications for an offensive line coaching position. Salary is between $24-$28k and includes benefits. Candidates must have a bachelors degree and recruiting experience. Vermilion CC (JC - MN): Richard Embry, who previously coached the defensive line at East Texas Baptist (D-III - MI) has been hired as defensive backs coach / special teams coordinator, per source.

Mansfield (Sprint - PA): Mansfield University seeks an offensive line coach. The job requires coaching the offensive line and recruiting an area of Pennsylvania and New York. Prospective candidates MUST have O-Line experience. Position runs from August 1-Dec 15. Pay is 3500 plus housing in a dorm with your own bathroom, wifi, cable, microwave and fridge.
