Houston Texans: The Texans have announced their 2018 personnel staff and their roles, many of which we've touched on the past week or so, as follows; Matt Bazirgan (director of player personnel), Rob Kisel (director of pro scouting), James Liipfert (director of college scouting), CJ Leak (assistant director of pro scouting), Bailee Brown (southwest area scout), Ryan Cavanaugh (midwest area scout), Brad Mathews (northeast area scout), John Ritcher (southeast area scout), Nathan Trott (western area scout), Frantzy Jourdain (national scout), Mozique McCurtis (national Scout), Chris Blanco (pro scout), Steven Price (pro scout), Blaise Taggart (NFS area scout), Tom Hayden (college scouting coordinator), Najja Johnson (scouting assistant), and George Panos (scouting assistant.

Hiram (D-III - OH): Hiram College is seeking applications for a restricted earnings assistant football coach. Hiram College is a private liberal arts institution located in northeast Ohio. The College is a member of the North Coast Athletic Conference and NCAA Division III. The restricted earnings assistant football coach is a 10 month position which reports to the head football coach and director of athletics. This position includes a $5,000.00 stipend, room and board. No benefits are attached to this position. The football intern is responsible for the following; Daily implementation of academic monitoring/mentoring, on field position coach, recruiting both on and off campus in accordance with Hiram College, NCAC and NCAA policies and procedures, video/academic support for assigned position players, and other duties as assigned. Qualifications for this position includes; Bachelor’s Degree, minimum of 2 years of experience in collegiate football. Wide Receiver experience is preferred. CSCS preferred but not required. Eastern New Mexico (D-II): Eastern New Mexico has an offensive and defensive graduate assistant position available. The offensive position will work with RB or WRs while the defensive position will work with DB’s or LB’s. Candidates must be able to get gain acceptance into the HPE Graduate Program. Interested Candidates should apply for admission to Graduate School and apply for a Graduate Assistant Position via this link. Only candidates who have been accepted to Graduate School and have applied online will be considered. Oklahoma: Athletic director Joe Castiglione has received a pay raise of $1.55 million, making him one of the nation's highest paid athletic directors at a Power 5 public school.

Southwestern University (D-III - TX): Southwestern University is accepting applications for the position of intern football coach. This position is eligible for hourly pay and some meals will be provided. No housing. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: recruiting, on-field coaching, data analytics, scouting and practice preparation, and assisting the head football coach in all areas of program administration. A Bachelor’s degree and valid driver’s license is required. A background check is required. Expected start date is August 1st. Oregon: Last night, Oregon promoted a few of their coaches. Offensive coordinator / quarterbacks coach Marcus Arroyo has added the title of assistant head coach, safeties coach Keith Heyward has added co-defensive coordinator duties and associate head coach / defensive line coach Joe Salave’a will now also serve as co-defensive coordinator/run game coordinator for the defense. Salave’a and Heyward will continue to work closely with defensive coordinator Jim Leavitt.

Bret Bielema: Field Yates tweeted yesterday that Bret Bielema continues to work with the Patriots staff after the draft and to “look for him to be involved with coaching duties as the team begins its rookie minicamp."

Washington: A few promotions and contract extensions ensure that Chris Petersen's staff of assistants will be among the highest paid in college football.

Mike Singletary: The Dallas Morning News reports that Singletary will coach both Trinity Christian HS (Addison, TX), as well as the Alliance of American Football's new team located in Memphis.
