Augustana (D-II – SD): Augustana University, located in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, is seeking applicants for a restricted earnings position on the offensive side of the ball. Previous experience coaching an offensive position is preferred. Applicants must have a minimum of 2 years coaching at the collegiate level. Compensation is $10k. This is a non-benefited position. New recruiting calendar: He didn't come out and say it explicitly, but Urban Meyer implied the new recruiting calendar helped push him into retirement this year. "I'm not a fan."

Tampa Bay (XFL): Jonathan Himebauch (OL) and Frank Gansz Jr. (STC) have both joined Marc Trestman's staff. Gansz Jr. spent last season as the special teams coordinator for the Hamilton Tiger-Cats (CFL) and Himebauch most recently coached the offensive line for the San Antonio Commanders (AAF).

Florida Memorial (NAIA - FL): Florida Memorial University has announced it will revive its football program, starting in 2020. Details here.

Lamar (FCS - TX): Former Lamar head coach Ray Woodard has been named head coach at Chester HS (TX).

Urban Meyer: Urban lost only 32 games in 17 years. He had no trouble picking out the most painful one.

Ottawa (NAIA - AZ): Ottawa University Arizona has an immediate opening for a Defensive Graduate Assistant Football Coach, preferably with experience in coaching defensive line, starting in summer 2019. College coaching and recruiting experience is preferred. Applicants must be accepted into the graduate program with a 3.0 GPA. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, equipment organization, practice planning, coaching a position group, leading meetings, film break down, player evaluation and recruiting, promotion and marketing of the program, and assisting in general day to day football operations. This position pays full tuition, a meal plan, and a healthy stipend. Wittenberg (D-III - OH): Wittenberg University is accepting applications for an offensive assistant coach responsible for overseeing WRs and other duties as assigned by the head coach and/or Director of Athletics. This is a full time/12 month position paying $23,500 and benefits. Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree and 1-3 yrs prior coaching and recruiting experience. Susquehanna (D-III - PA): Susquehanna University seeks an assistant football coach working with the Defensive Backs. Preferred candidates will have prior experience playing and/or coaching at the college level. Candidates will be responsible for coaching their own position group, on the road recruiting in a specific area, film editing/breakdown (HUDL), and all other duties assigned by the head football coach. A Bachelor’s degree and valid driver’s license is required. Salary is $7,500. No housing, but some meals are included. The ability for additional income is available in the off season. Finlandia (D-III - MI): Finlandia University is looking to hire a Full-Time Quarterbacks/Wide Receivers coach with possibility of coordinator duties. Responsibilities will include practice organization, game plan preparation, scouting/ game breakdowns (Hudl), positional organization, academic accountability, recruiting, and all other duties assigned by the head football coach. Must be highly organized and show commitment to leadership and developing young men both on and off the field. Simpson College (D-III - IA): Simpson College, a private liberal arts college in Indianola, Iowa, invites applicants for the position of Special Teams/Defensive Backs or Defensive Assistant (Best Fit). Duties and responsibilities will include assisting in the administration and organization of all aspects of the football program, including coaching, recruiting and scheduling. Applicants must have an excellent working knowledge of all area of the sport as well as a working knowledge of NCAA/A-R-C rules. The qualified candidate will hold a bachelors’ degree with athletics/sports emphasis. Minimum of five years’ experience coaching college or high school as a Special Teams/Defensive Backs or Defensive Assistant, preferred. Must have strong commitment to academic goals of the college.
