Maryland: The investigation into the football program's culture under head coach D.J. Durkin is expected to wrap up on Sunday, according to a prominent Terps booster.

Ridgewater College (JC - MN): Ridgewater College has suspended play for the remainder of the season, citing a depleted roster. The team currently has 22 players. "The safety of our students, including our student-athletes, is our top concern," president Craig Johnson said. "Given the reduced size of our roster, we are concerned about players being in unfamiliar positions as this could increase the risk of injury. We did not make the decision lightly, but feel that it is in the best interests of our student-athletes." Ridgewater brass will "continue evaluating the circumstances around the program" before making a decision on future seasons.

Montana (FCS): Montana AD Kent Haslam has been appointed to the FCS Selection Committee through the 2020 season. The group is comprised entirely of ADs, one from each of the FCS's 10 automatic qualifying conferences.

St. John's (D-I - NY): Duke deputy AD/COO Mike Cragg has been named AD at St. John's.

Texas: Offensive coordinator Tim Beck will not make the trip to Manhattan for the Longhorns' game at Kansas State on Saturday (3:30 p.m. ET, FS1). Head athletic trainer Anthony Pass says he is in the hospital being treated for an infection and is expected to rejoin the team on Sunday. "It's unfortunate that Tim will not able to be at the game with us, and we wish him a speedy recovery," Tom Herman said. "We'll pull together as coaches, and our offensive staff will still call plays collaboratively."
