Virginia Tech: Justin Fuente has had his contract extended with the Hokies through the 2023 season. Fuente led the program to a 10-4 mark in his first season in 2016 and was also voted ACC Coach of the Year. Fuente's new deal will pay him $3.25 million in 2017, and will increase to $4 million in 2023, according to Bruce Feldman.

Les Miles: Speaking at Nebraska's coaching clinic over the weekend, Miles said, "I want to coach football."

Carroll College (NAIA - MT): Aurora Central (CO) quarterbacks coach Chris Riley has accepted the running backs job, per source.

Rex Ryan: The former Jets and Bills head coach will make his debut as an ESPN commentator during the network's coverage of Florida State's spring game Saturday at 3 p.m. ET. He'll be on Sunday NFL Countdown -- now hosted by Samantha Ponder -- in the fall.

Hard Knocks: According to the Sports Business Journal, HBO and the NFL have agreed to continue the hit Hard Knocks series for at least another four years.

University of Puget Sound (D-III – WA): Puget Sound invites applications for the part time positions of defensive backs coach and tight ends coach. The successful candidates will be heavily involved in game planning and film work (HUDL). The successful candidate will also be expected to help recruit, retain, and graduate academically successful student-athletes to the University of Puget Sound.
