Stonehill (D-II - MA): Stonehill College has hired Jacob Petrarca as their wide receivers coach. Petrarca wast he wide receivers coach at Anna Maria College (D-III - MA) the past two seasons.

Grinnell (D-III - IA): Grinnell College has an immediate opening for a part-time Assistant Football Coaches (August 8 thru December 9) for the 2016 football season. Responsibilities include assisting the head coach in planning and conducting training sessions, making recruiting calls, breaking down film and preparing scouting reports. Applicants must demonstrate willingness and the capability to abide by NCAA and Midwest Conference rules. Experience playing and/or coaching at the college level is preferred. The successful candidate(s) will produce daily graphics and edits for all recruiting correspondence, aid football staff in generation of both print and electronic recruiting materials, provide creative support for all social media & communication initiatives. Must be proficient in Adobe Creative Suite. Video editing skills is a plus. Telecommute candidates will be considered. The position is an unpaid internship. This is a paid position, a Bachelor’s Degree is preferred. Extensive experience with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator is required. Primary responsibilities include: Produce daily graphics and edits for all recruiting correspondence, aid football staff in generation of both print and electronic recruiting materials, and assist with the day to day recruiting operations. The story of the weekend: Texas A&M suspends two assistants after sexist presentation at annual Women's Clinic

Central Arkansas (FCS): Larry Hart, a two-time All American defensive end for the program, has joined the UCA staff as defensive line coach. Hart spent last season as the defensive line coach at Holmes CC (MS), and before that was a defensive graduate assistant at Arkansas State. He replaces Dan Augustine, who left after 15 years in the coaching profession to go into private business.

South Carolina State (FCS): Corey Peoples has joined the staff and will coach the defensive backs, per source.

National Gridiron League (Australia): Sources tell FootballScoop that the NGL in Australia is folding, meaning that a number of quality coaches from the states now don't have a coaching position for the fall. More on this to come...

Chowan (D-II - NC):Chowan University is looking for a 2017 game in week-2 (9/9/17). Will consider starting a home-&-home series or traveling for a guarantee game. If interested. please contact placet@chowan.edu.

Fayetteville State (D-II - NC): Per source, Montaze McRae has accepted the offensive line position at Fayettevill State University. McRae spent the past seven seasons as the offensive line coach at Southern Durham HS.

North Carolina Central (FCS): Former NCCU quarterback Jordan Reid will coach the running backs after working as an offensive assistant the past two seasons, Jermaine Gates (who has past coaching stops at Mars Hill University, Saint Augustine's University, and Southern Arkansas University) will coach the wide receivers, and Chris Schultz will handle the special teams coordinator duties and serve as a defensive assistant. Also, Quinn Billerman (a former NCCU quarterback) is now an offensive assistant and former video coordinator Bobby Turner has been named a defensive assistant.

Hinds CC (MS): Chris Mattox, who spent last season as the co-defensive coordinator at Coffeyville CC (KS), is now coaching the corners at Hinds CC. Michael Turner, who was a defensive assistant at East Mississippi CC, is coaching the linebackers at Hinds CC.
