Former Wichita State and Emporia State head coach Bob Seaman passed away yesterday we are told. Please keep his family in your prayers.

Colorado State: Head coach Mike Bobo is under medical evaluation after experiencing numbness in his feet. Bobo was admitted to the hospital following the Rams’ scrimmage Saturday.

SMU: Offensive line coach Jamal Powell is out for a while with an undisclosed medical issue. We ask that you include him in your prayers for a successful recovery. We understand Powell is fighting an infection in his immune system. Sonny Dykes mentioned today he could miss the entire season; but is expected to return to the staff once available. Offensive quality control Johnny Brewer has been promoted to full-time offensive line coach in the interim. SMU has also added Zach Yenser to the staff as a consultant. Yenser previously worked with Dykes at both Cal and LA Tech.

Division II: Like every other NCAA division, D2 coaches like the defending champs to repeat this year.

Big Sky Conference: Deputy commissioner Ron Loghry has been named interim commissioner. Commissioner Andrea Williams was named COO of the College Football Playoff last month.

USF: Charlie Strong says he wants to stay in Tampa for the long haul. "I want to be here."

FAU: Lane Kiffin has an interesting clause in his contract if he stays with the Owls through the 2021 season.

Will Muschamp: Muschamp lashes out saying the report about Maryland and his former assistant DJ Durkin "lacks journalistic integrity."

Ohio State investigation:Tom Herman responds to the report that pins him as the tipster who set the Ohio State investigation into motion.

Maryland: In case you missed it, DJ Durkin was placed on administrative leave over the weekend. Read AD Damon Evans’s letter to Maryland supporters here.
