Auburn: Former Louisiana Lafayette director of player personnel Ryan Trichel has emerged as Gus Malzahn's new director of player personnel at Auburn. Sources tell FootballScoop Trichel joined the staff earlier this Summer.

19 for 19: Miami's defense last fall was championship caliber. The offense? Not so much. If Dan Enos can fix that, The U could be legit in 2019.

Florida Memorial (NAIA): Two prominent Miami high school coaches are leaving to join the upstart FMU staff, sources told FootballScoop on Sunday evening. Details here.

Urban Meyer: In case you went away this weekend, we got a peek inside Urban's text conversations related to both the Zach Smith saga from last year and so much more. Oh, and Nick Saban shared his thoughts on this situation this weekend as well...

Norwich (D-III - VT): Norwich University has an immediate opening for an assistant coach on the defensive side of the ball, preferably DBs. This is a full time, benefits eligible position. Start date is as soon as possible. Interested parties please email your resume to Associate Head Coach Bill Russell wrussel1@norwich.edu.

Lafayette (FCS - PA): Princeton offensive quality control Ryan Bartel has been hired as the tight ends/fullbacks coach at Lafayette College.

Purdue: AD Mike Bobinski will receive a 3-year extension with a raise to $750,000 a year and $25,000 annual increases, according to the Purdue Exponent.

Oklahoma State: It was six years ago now that Mike Gundy plucked Mike Yurcich out of Division II obscurity, and Yurcich's replacement might be an even more interesting hire.

Prior to Carol City, Moss served as the defensive backs coach at Florida International University from 2015-16.

Bethune-Cookman (FCS - FL): Ocoee HS (FL) defensive coordinator Dazzie Morris, a former Bethune-Cookman Offensive lineman, has joined B-CU’s coaching staff as a graduate assistant/offensive quality control.
