Oregon: The program has announced the additions of Jovon Bouknight (WRs) and Ken Wilson (LBs), as we previously shared. Bouknight is coming from Texas Tech and coached at Utah State in 2018, and Wilson joins the staff from Washington State.

Richmond (FCS - VA): Per source, Justin Wood's new title is linebackers coach / defensive run game coordinator, and Rod West's new title is corners coach / defensive pass game coordinator.

Hampton (FCS - VA): David Mackie, who spent 2018 as a senior defensive analyst at ECU, has joined the Hampton staff as safeties coach / co-special teams coordinator.

Coastal Carolina: New head coach Jamey Chadwell has announced offensive line coach Patrick Covington has been promoted to assistant head coach. Also Willy Korn will move from receivers to quarterbacks, and Korn and running backs coach Newland Isaac will share co-offensive coordinator duties.

Fresno State: Fresno State has formally announced offensive line coach Ryan Grubb's promotion to offensive coordinator and associate head coach, Danny Langsdorf's hiring as quarterbacks coach and passing game coordinator, Will Pelmons' hiring as defensive line coach and Roman Sapolu's hiring as assistant offensive line coach.

John Carroll (D-III - OH): University of Dubuque (D-III - IA) assistant head coach Drew Nystrom has accepted the offensive line job at John Carroll University source tells FootballScoop.

Kansas: Les Miles added Devin Ducote as senior special teams consultant. Ducote, who worked with Les Miles at LSU, had spent the past three seasons at Auburn working with Kevin Steele.

Eastern Illinois (FCS): Cary Fowler, who served as the programs defensive coordinator the past two seasons prior to the head coaching change, has been hired as the new head coach at Warren Central HS (Bowling Green, KY) according to the Daily News.

Western Carolina (FCS): Head coach Mark Spier has had a 5-year contract extension unanimously approved by the board of trustees, keeping him with the school through the summer of 2025. Spier was entering the final year of the contract extension he signed back in February of 2015. Also, the program has announced the addition of Arketa Banks to the staff as running backs / tight ends coach, and shared that Reuben Wright is moving from running backs to defensive line, and Mark Rhea will focus on outside linebackers while Justin Hood will take over the nickelbacks on defense and added special teams coordinator duties.

Maine Maritime (D-III): Maine Maritime currently has four temporary assistant coach positions available. The successful candidates will be college graduates and possess previous college playing and/or coaching experience. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, assisting in practice and game planning, video breakdown and analysis with Hudl, recruiting, academic oversight, and coaching their own position group. There are openings on both offense and defense. Compensation includes an hourly wage and housing. SUNY Cortland (D-III - NY): SUNY Cortland seeks applicants for a defensive assistant (defensive line or linebacker experience preferred). Responsibilities include coaching your own position, running position meetings, assisting with special teams, assisting with game planning, film breakdown and data entry (HUDL), covering your own recruiting area, and other duties assigned by the head coach. The ideal candidate would have a minimum 1 year coaching experience. This is an entry level position with commensurate salary, in addition to a meal card and up to 12 graduate school credits paid for annually. Samford (FCS - AL): Sources tell FootballScoop USA Football manager of national team operations Tanner Schultheis is joining Chris Hatcher's staff as director of football operations. Prior to joining USA Football in 2017, Schultheis had served as director of football operations at Robert Morris University for three seasons.

Maine Maritime (D-III): Maine Maritime currently has an opening for a full-time, continuing assistant coach. The position is a full-time, 11-month (July 1 - May 31) benefited position under the direction of the Head Football Coach. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, coaching, recruiting and on-campus visit planning, game and practice planning, minor administrative tasks, and monitoring student-athlete academic performance. The Assistant Football Coach operates in accordance with Maine Maritime Academy, North Atlantic/New England Men’s and Women’s Athletic Conference, and NCAA rules, regulations and policies. St. Scholastica (D-III - MN): The College of St. Scholastica invites applications for the position of Assistant Football Coach. This is a full-time, 12- month per year position. A bachelor's degree and coaching experience in college, high school, or the equivalent is required. Must possess demonstrated ability to recruit a wide diversity of students effectively. Strong cross-cultural oral and written communication skills are necessary. Coastal Carolina: The program has announced the additions of Chad Staggs (LBs), Skylor Magee (DL), Joey King (WRs), and Chad Scott (Director of football strength, speed and conditioning).

Texas: Former North Carolina head coach Larry Fedora has accepted an analyst position on Tom Herman's staff, Anwar Richardson tweets.

Ole Miss: Virginia Tech safeties coach Tyrone Nix is heading back to Ole Miss. Source tells FootballScoop Mike MacIntyre will coach safeties and Ty will work with one group of the linebackers.

Southern Miss: Arkansas State offensive coordinator Buster Faulkner will join the staff in the same role, sources tell FootballScoop. Details here.

There's a new "Catfishing" story emerging, this time involving a fake Power Five coach 

Southeastern (NAIA - FL): Jay McIntyre, Mike's son, has joined the staff as wide receivers coach.

Colorado: Source tells FootballScoop Mel Tucker finalized his staff, making Brian Michalowski's hire as outside linebackers coach official. Michalowski spent last season as a defensive quality control at Georgia. Michalowski had been with new Georgia defensive coordinator Dan Lanning at Arizona State, Memphis and Georgia before coming to Colorado with Tucker last month.

Western Carolina (FCS): Head coach Mark Speir has agreed to a five year extension.

Memphis: Per source, Cortez Carter and Joel Elliott have joined the Memphis staff as graduate assistants working with defensive backs and linebackers respectively. Carter spent last year at Lock Haven (D-II - PA) as the special teams coordinator and defensive backs coach and was a graduate assistant at Marshall during the 2016-17 seasons. Elliott comes to Memphis after working as a defensive grad assistant at Marshall in 2018 and a special teams / defensive quality control coach in 2017.

South Florida: Quality control assistant Bryan Hill has been promoted to safeties coach.

Georgia Southern: Georgia Southern is no longer accepting applications for the offensive line graduate assistant position. Thank you for the overwhelming interest.

Tarleton State (D-II - TX): Former Blinn (JC - TX) co-defensive coordinator Eddie Jones Jr. has joined the staff as defensive line coach per a report from LoneStarSportsDaily.com.

North Carolina Central (FCS): Ty Greenwood, who previously coached the linebackers and secondary at Delaware State (FCS), has been hired to coach the corners, per source.

Dixie State (D-II - UT):Dixie State is looking for two home games in 2020: September 26th and October 31st. Can negotiate possible guarantee. Open to FCS, DII, NAIA. Please contact tyler.almond@dixie.edu.

Pace (D-II - NY): Pace University has an opening for a restricted earnings receivers coach. The position will have a significant role in quality control, social media and recruiting. The position will also have additional ancillary responsibilities associated with the football program. The position is for the individual that can commit to the development of student athletes daily through the academic year and will pursue a career coaching football rather than part-time coaching work. Applicants with experience playing college football or previous coaching experience (preferably on offense) are preferred. Candidates will have their undergraduate degree, a valid driver’s license, regular access to a vehicle and a clean background. Alderson Broaddus (Sprint - WV): The Alderson Broaddus Sprint football program is looking to hire an intern. The responsibilities of the sprint football assistant intern coach are to conduct all aspects of the sprint football program within the philosophy and guidelines set forth by Alderson Broaddus University and the CSFL. The expectations of the sprint football assistant coach include: commitment to the mission of Alderson Broaddus University, meeting the established recruiting goals of the athletic department, conducting practices and meetings, publishing the playbook, travel planning, fund raising, and completion of any duties assigned by the Head Sprint Football Coach. Objectives: Meet the assigned recruiting goals for each year; Monitor the academic progress of student athletes in the sprint football program; Help ensure eligibility of student athletes in the sprint football program; Assist with the retention of a satisfactory number of recruited student athletes; Monitor the social behavior of student athletes in the sprint football program; Ability to exercise good judgment in problem resolution situations; Implement practices and player development; Perform duties as assigned by the Head Sprint Football Coach; Participate in community and campus life opportunities. Incarnate Word (FCS - TX):  Per source, Mack Leftwich has been hired to coach the quarterbacks.

Richmond (FCS - VA): Per source, video coordinator John Srofe has added the title of recruiting coordinator.

Mary Hardin-Baylor (D-III - TX): Mary Hardin-Baylor is looking for a home and home series for September 5th, 2020 and September 4th, 2021. We would like the September 5th, 2020 game to be played in Belton, TX and then would be willing to travel in 2021. Please only Division III football institutions, no preference on location. Occidenttal (D-III - CA):Occidental College is exploring the possibilities available to schedule a D-III team for a two game series in 2020-2021. Open dates are 1st or 2nd weeks. Need Home game in 2020, Away in 2021. Please email Rob Cushman at rcushman@oxy.edu to discuss options.

Findlay (D-II - OH): The University of Findlay is seeking a restricted earnings coach. The chosen candidate will work with the wide receivers.Coaching and or playing experience at the position is preferred. This position comes with a stipend, housing and meals. Virginia Tech: Justin Hamilton, the Hokies director of player personnel - defense, is taking over as safeties coach.

Pearl River (JC - CA): Pearl River Community College, has an opening for a Wide Receivers Coach. Previous playing/coaching experience is preferred. This position includes, dorm, food, and a stipend. Job responsibilities include: Video Coordinator (Hudl Experience), Head Dorm Resident, coach and meet with your position, recruit your own area, and any other duties assigned by the head coach. Bemidji State (D-II - MN): Bemidji State University, located in northern Minnesota, is accepting applications to fill two (2) Assistant Football Coach positions – Defensive Coordinator and Offensive Coordinator (both are paid positions). Green Bay Packers: Kevin Koger and Jason Vrable have joined the Packers staff. Koger, who spent the last three seasons as the wide receivers coach at Eastern Kentucky (FCS) will be an offensive quality control coach, and Vrable, who was an offensive assistant with the Jets the past two seasons, has the title of offensive assistant.
