Eastern Washington (FCS): Central Washington (D-II) head coach Ian Shoemaker is joining the EWU staff as offensive coordinator / quarterbacks. Shoemaker fills the spot vacated by Bodie Reeder who is moving on to North Texas as offensive coordinator. In five seasons as head coach at Central Washington Shoemaker went 38-16.

TCU: Malcolm Kelly will join the staff as outside receivers coach, a source told FootballScoop. The news was first reported by HornedFrogBlitz. Kelly, a former All-American wide receiver at Oklahoma, has been hired as the wide receivers coach at Stephen F. Austin and Arkansas State since the new year.

Nebraska: Cal defensive line coach Tony Tuioti will join the Nebraska staff in the same capacity, per multiple reports.

XFL: Former Washington Redskins head coach Jim Zorn has been announced as head coach of the XFL's Seattle franchise.

Wisconsin-Eau Claire (D-III): Sources tell FootballScoop Wes Beschorner is being hired to be the new head coach at Eau Claire. Beschorner, the former All-American quarterback at South Dakota went on to serve as offensive coordinator at his alma mater before joining the coaching staffs at Pitt, Rice and Maryland where he spent this past season.

Widener (D-III - PA): Widener University is seeking a part-time assistant coach working with the defensive line. Previous playing experience is required and previous coaching experience is preferred. Preference will be given to local candidates. Compensation is $5,000 no housing or benefits provided. Please send cover letter, resume, and references to

Mary Hardin-Baylor (D-III - TX): The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor will be looking to fill several graduate assistant spots. 4 on-field jobs; 3 on offense and 1 on defense, and one strictly OFF-field position responsible for both recruiting and operations. Middle Georgia State (NAIA): Victor Hall, who had been serving as interim head coach of the program since February 9th, has been named head coach. Hall was the team's defensive coordinator in 2017 and moved to offensive coordinator and associate head coach last fall.

Puget Sound (D-III - WA): Puget Sound invites applications for the part time positions of defensive line coach. The successful candidates will be heavily involved in game planning and film work (HUDL). The successful candidate will also be expected to help recruit, retain, and graduate academically successful student-athletes to the University of Puget Sound. Montana State-Northern (NAIA): Montana State University-Northern is seeking applicants for the position of assistant football coach for defense, working with defensive backs. Position to begin immediately. Preferred candidates will have prior experience playing/coaching on the defensive side of the ball, preferably with the defensive backfield. Candidates will be responsible for coaching their own position group, a recruiting area, film editing/breakdown (HUDL), and all other duties assigned by the head football coach/defensive coordinator. A bachelor’s degree and valid driver’s license is required. This is a restricted earnings position, and pay will be discussed during the interview process. Texas: Former Kansas State offensive coordinator Andre Coleman is joining the staff.

Mercyhurst (D-II - PA): Mercyhurst University, an NCAA Division II Institution and member of the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC), has two immediate opening for a 12-Month restricted earnings offensive and defensive skill assistant coach. The successful candidate will coach his own position, run positional meetings, assist with special teams, contribute to the weekly game plan and have his own recruiting area. Computer and Video Skills is a must. Qualifications include: Bachelor's Degree, college coaching and/or playing experience. Compensation package includes $13,000 and some meals. William Jewell (D-II - MO): Per source, graduate assistant Conner Benado has been promoted to inside linebackers coach.

Kentucky: As expected, the program has officially announced the addition of Jon Sumrall as inside linebackers coach.

Houston: Former Houston player Justin Johnson is joining the staff as an offensive assistant, per Mark Berman. Johnson previously had joined the Texas State staff as co-offensive coordinator / receivers coach.

Northern Colorado (FCS): Colorado State quality control assistant Trent Matthews has been hired as the outside linebackers coach at Northern Colorado, a source tells FootballScoop.

Mayville State (NAIA - ND): Jeff Larson, who spent the past seven seasons as the defensive coordinator at Chardon State, has been named the new head coach. He takes over for Sean Thom who resigned in January to become a head coach in Georgia

Army: Source tells FootballScoop that Saginaw Valley State (D-II - MI) head coach Jim Collins, who just wrapped up an 8-3 season, is expected to join the Army staff as director of recruiting. Collins spent the past 11 seasons at Saginaw Valley State, making the Division II playoffs three times and winning a share of the GLIAC twice.

Akron: Marcus Wattley, who coached the defensive ends last season, is being hired as the new head coach at Canton McKinley HS (OH), per the Canton Rep. Prior to joining the Akron staff, Wattley was the head coach at St. Vincent-St. Mary HS (Akron, OH) for two seasons.

North Park (D-III - IL): North Park University is accepting applications for the position of full-time assistant football coach. The chosen candidate will coach either defensive backs or linebackers. Coordinator Responsibilities are possible for the right candidate. This 12-month benefit-eligible position includes, but is not limited to, assisting with all phases of a successful Division III Football program. Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) and a personal commitment to North Park’s mission of Christian higher education. A background in Strength and Conditioning is preferred. Organization, attention to detail, and a proven track record with recruiting are essential. Philadelphia Eagles: The Eagles have announced the following changes to the coaching staff. Phillip Daniels has been promoted to defensive line coach, and Carson Walch has been promoted to wide receivers coach. The following coaches have been hired onto the staff; Mike Bartrum (assistant TEs), Matthew Harper (assistant WRs), Roy Istvan (assistant OL), TJ Paganetti (assistant RBs), Luke Thompson (assistant ST), Matt Burke (defensive special assistant), GJ Kinne (offensive special projects), Joe Pannunzio (director of team development). Within football operations, the team has announced; Andrew Berry (VP of football operations), Greg Delimitros (VP of equipment operations), Patrick Dolan (VP of football technology), Jon Ferrari (VP of football operations and compliance), Jeremiah Washburn (advanced projects coordinator).

Central Missouri (D-II): The University of Central Missouri is seeks a highly energized candidate for a Tight End / Offensive Line Graduate Assistant. Candidates will be responsible for coaching a position group, recruiting a geographical area, film breakdown/editing on HUDL, and other duties assigned by the Head Coach and Offensive Coordinator. The candidate must be able to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends. Compensation includes – Stipend, Tuition, and Meal plan. Qualifications: Required: Bachelor’s Degree (minimum 2.75 GPA) from an accredited institution, must qualify for and be accepted into a graduate program at the University of Central Missouri, and prior TE/OL coaching/playing experience. Akron: Per source, Jayden Everett is expected to join the Akron staff as running backs coach. Everett coached the running backs at Central Michigan last season, and had accepted the running backs job at Eastern Illinois (FCS) back in January.

SUNY Maritime (D-III): Per source, SUNY Maritime has hired Mickey Rehring, who was previously the defensive coordinator at Johns Hopkins (D-III - MD), to lead the program. He steps in for Vincent DiGeatano, who was accepted the interim head coach role shortly before the season and led the team to a 7-3 mark and a post season bowl game against Springfield College.

Findlay (D-II - OH): The University of Findlay is seeking a restricted earnings coach. The chosen candidate will work with the corners. Coaching and or playing experience at the position is preferred. This position comes with a stipend, housing and meals. Anticipated start date is 3/11/19. Kansas: Former Eastern Illinois (FCS) head coach Kim Dameron has been added to Les Miles staff, source tells FootballScoop.

Lake Forest College (D-III - IL): The quarterbacks / passing game coordinator position at Lake Forest, vacated by Quinn Schafer's departure to Northern State has been filled.
