San Francisco 49ers: Kyle Shanahan has now formally been named head coach of the Niners. All six NFL head coaching vacancies have now been filled.

New York Jets: Former Seahawks offensive coordinator Jeremy Bates is being targeted for the quarterbacks position, per Albert Breer.

San Francisco 49ers: Alex Marvez reports that Kyle Shanahan is targeting Chargers assistant Robert Saleh (who spent the last three seasons coaching the linebackers for the Jags) and Falcons defensive passing game coordinator / secondary coach Jerome Henderson as his co-defensive coordinators, and that the staff will also include Jon Embree (assistant head coach / tight ends), Jeff Hafley (DBs) and Jason Tarver (LBs)

Buffalo Bills: Gill Byrd will be the new secondary coach in Buffalo, per Alex Marvez and Vic Carucci. Byrd was a two-time Pro Bowler as a player and most recently coached the secondary with the Bucs in 2015.

LSU: USC running backs coach Tommie Robinson and Louisiana Tech running backs coach Mickey Joseph have emerged as the leading candidates to replace Dameyune Craig and Jabbar Juluke, according to Ross Dellenger of The Advocate.

Eastern Illinois: Per source, Memphis offensive analyst Kwahn Drake has taken the defensive line job at Eastern Illinois.

Lafayette: Per source, Valdosta State defensive line coach Justin Hinds will join John Garrett's staff at Lafayette. The pair worked together previously at Florida.

Scoop Him Up:Shanin Bennefield is seeking a graduate assistant position on a college football staff. He graduated in December 2015 earning a degree in sports management and human performance from West Virginia State University. He very eager to continue pursuing his passion in athletics. Bennefield's combined nine years of playing and studying the game, it has enabled him to possess sound practical and technical knowledge of the game. He is dedicated and loyal to his work, and he proactively sought an opportunity to pursue a coaching internship at South Charleston High School (W.Va.), and worked with young football athletes as a 2-way coaches' assistant working with wide receivers on offense and outside linebackers and safeties on defense in their highly reputable athletic program during the Spring 2015 academic term. His personal philosophy in athletic development is to not only develop and produce good football players, but also mentoring young men to become holistically well-rounded young men as strong contributors both on and off the football field. Oregon: Co-offensive coordinator/tight ends coach David Reaves resigned from the staff on Friday, according to the Eugene Register-Guard.

VMI: VMI is currently accepting applications for an unpaid assistant football coach. We are seeking candidates who are looking to gain experience working within a Division 1 football program. The position will coach the tight ends, actively recruit, and perform other duties as assigned by the Head Coach. Qualifications: (1) Must be have completed a Bachelor’s degree program; (2) Experience competing in intercollegiate athletics or (3) experience working in a collegiate football program. This position does not provide any stipend, benefits, or housing. However, you will receive experience working in a Division I program, have the potential to earn a paid position, and earn recommendations for future career opportunities. San Diego Mesa College (JC - CA): San Diego Mesa is seeking assistant coaches for D-Line or Linebackers for the upcoming 2017 season. Furman (FCS - SC): Head coach Clay Hendrix has announced the addition of Tusculum (D-II - TN) defensive coordinator / defensive backs coach Addison Williams as corners coach.

College of DuPage (JC - IL): Sources tell FootbalScoop that wide receivers coach Trevor Cipriano has been promoted to associate head coach / offensive coordinator following the departure of Mike Passarella to the Browns. We understand that all roles on the DuPage staff are currently filled and they are not accepting resumes at this time.

Cleveland Browns: Per source, College of DuPage (JC - IL) associate head coach / offensive coordinator Mike Passarella has accepted a game analyst role with the Browns organization.

Black Hills State (D-II - SD): Black Hills State has a graduate assistant coaching position (safeties) available beginning August 1st, 2017. The position includes a stipend and reduced tuition. Responsibilities include coaching defensive backs (primarily safeties), film breakdown and data entry (HUDL), recruiting, and other duties assigned by the Head Football Coach and Athletic Director. The ideal candidate would have a minimum 1 year coaching experience or collegiate playing experience. Candidates must be able to gain acceptance to graduate school. Tennessee: Late last week, SEC Country noted that Brady Hoke was in discussions with Butch Jones about joining the staff, and Bruce Feldman adds today that Hoke is expected to be the new defensive line coach for the Vols.

Maryland: Kentucky defensive line coach Jimmy Brumbaugh is headed to Maryland as co-defensive coordinator / defensive line coach reports Ryan Bartow.

Those coaches include defensive coordinator / assistant head coach Nubis Padhye (npadhye@saintjoe.edu), pass game coordinator / quarterbacks coach Robert Dutton (rdutton@saintjoe.edu), run game coordinator / recruiting coordinator / running backs and tight ends coach Ryan Stokes (rstokes@saintjoe.edu), and wide receivers coach Dyrell Roberts (droberts@saintjoe.edu). We understand that the staff are looking for opportunities to continue to coach at the college level.

Baylor: Former Temple offensive coordinator Glenn Thomas is joining Matt Rhule's staff at Baylor coaching the quarterbacks per multiple reports.

Faulkner (NAIA - AL): Per source, Alabama A&M (FCS) linebackers coach Tracy Buckhannon has been hired as the team's new defensive coordinator.

Indiana State (FCS): Per source, Aaron Archie (LBs), Shannon Jackson (DL), Brian Cabral (DC) and Mike Perish (WRs) will not be retained by new head coach Curt Mallory.

St. Joseph College (D-II - Rensselaer, IN): The school has announced that they will "temporarily close" starting in May.
