Rutgers: Central Connecticut State (FCS) head coach Pete Rossomando is expected to join the staff as offensive line coach, source tells FootballScoop. Details here. 

Louisiana-Lafayette: LaMar Morgan, who coached the safeties at Houston, is joining the staff as corners coach, Brett McMurphy tweets. We can confirm.

Florida: Torrian Gray is headed back to Florida as defensive backs coach, Adam Rittenberg tweets. Gray previously coached the defensive backs for the Gators in 2016 and spent the past two seasons in the same capacity with the Washington Redskins.

USF: Per source, a number of Valdosta State (D-II - GA) staffers are joining the USF program. Offensive line coach / run game coordinator Jeremy Darveau is joining the staff as offensive line coach, offensive coordinator Kade Bell has been hired in an offensive quality control role, and offensive graduate assistant Andrew Robustelli has been hired in an offensive quality control role as well. Valdosta State head coach Kerwin Bell was hired as the new offensive coordinator for the Bulls a few weeks back.

Maryland: Per source, Cincinnati wide receivers coach Joker Phillips is expected to join the Terps staff. Details on Joker's travels here.

Carthage (D-III - WI): Carthage is looking to fill a restricted earnings type role on the defensive side of the ball. This position will preferably work with the linebackers and pays about $19k and includes some meals. No benefits or housing included. Pitt: Chris Beatty is joining the staff as wide receivers coach, according to multiple reports. Beatty most recently coached wide receivers at Maryland and previously coached at Virginia, Wisconsin, Illinois, Vanderbilt and West Virginia, among others.

Chicago Bears: The Bears have officially shared that Ted Monachino, who had been hired as Kansas State's defensive coordinator, will be the new outside linebackers coach on staff.

UCLA: Source tells FootballScoop Nevada defensive line coach Jason Kaufusi is expected to join Chip Kelly's staff working with defensive ends & outside linebackers. He previously served as defensive coordinator at Weber State prior to joining Jay Norvell's staff at Nevada for the 2017 season.

Houston: Source tells FootballScoop Dana Holgorsen is hiring Tyler Hancock (special teams quality control), Will Weaver (defensive analyst) and Michael Burchett (offensive analyst).

Tennessee Titans: Tight ends coach Arthur Smith has been promoted to offensive coordinator. Smith has spent the past eight seasons on the staff, working under four different head coaches. Smith steps in for a Matt LaFleur, who left for the head coaching job with the Packers.


Mississippi State: Defensive coordinator Bob Shoop, and defensive line coach Brian Baker, have both agreed to two-year contract extensions, per multiple reports.


Masters of Sports Administration:Upper Iowa’s MSA degree provides learners with the current theories, concepts, and learning models necessary to assume administrative, coaching and leadership roles in high school, higher education and sports business settings. The online degree is available with emphasis in Sports Management or Coaching & Leadership Eduction.

Rutgers: Andy Buh has been formally announced as the program's new defensive coordinator.

SBB Vukovi (Belgrade, Serbia): Robert Churchman, the former special teams coordinator at East Texas Baptist (D-III) and DFO at Incarnate Word (FCS - TX), has accepted the head coaching job, per source.

Alabama: Nick Saban has worked some really impressive details into the Alabama facility to set the Tide apart with recruits.

Castleton (D-III - VT): Castleton University is looking for a home game for week 4 (Sept. 26) of the 2020 season. Castleton will reciprocate with an away game in the 2021 season. NC State: Todd Goebbel has been announced as tight ends coach / special teams coordinator. Goebbel had been a part of the special teams at Marshall dating back to 2015, and worked with special teams as well as receivers, tight ends, and quarterbacks during his time there.

Pittsburgh: The University of Pittsburgh is looking for 3 on-field graduate assistant coaches (OL/DL/Skill). Candidates need to be academically qualified, within 7 years of receiving their bachelor degree, and on-field coaching experience is required. Minnesota: Rod Chance has formally been announced as the new corners coach.

Saint Leo University (FL): Saint Leo has held a series of focus groups to begin the process of exploring of bringing football back, per the Hernando Sun. St. Leo currently competes in the Sunshine State Conference, which does not compete in football, but is exploring the option of moving to the D-II Gulf South Conference.

New York Jets: Frank Pollack, who previously coached the Bengals offensive line, is expected to join the staff as offensive line coach, per PFT.

Rice: Source tells FootballScoop Mike Bloomgren is adding Catholic High (Baton Rouge, LA) offensive line coach Sanders Davis to the staff as an offensive grad assistant.

Kennesaw State (FCS - GA): Source tells FootballScoop Mercer (FCS - GA) corners coach Darius Safford is expected to join the KSU staff in the same capacity. Prior to coaching at Mercer, Safford coached defensive backs at West Georgia (D-II).

Ithaca (D-III - NY): Trevor Warner has accepted the defensive backs job at Ithaca. He was a defensive quality control at Penn (FCS) this season and previously had coached at Concordia St. Paul (D-III).

South Carolina: Last week we reported Arkansas defensive line coach John Scott Jr. was a target of Will Muschamp's search. This morning, it is being reported by GamecockCentral that Scott Jr. is set to be hired in the same capacity at South Carolina.

Cincinnati: Army defensive line coach Chad Wilt has accepted a position on the Bearcats staff, Sal Interdonato tweets.

Lehigh (FCS - PA): Source tells FootballScoop Brown (FCS) offensive line coach Chris Zarkoskie is expected to become the new offensive line coach at Lehigh.

Boston College: Source tells FootballScoop Steve Addazio is planning to hire Colorado State corners coach Eric Lewis as BC's new defensive backs coach. Lewis has previous coaching experience at Tennessee, Georgia State, Buffalo. Weber State, Eastern Michigan, Louisville, with the Green Bay Packers, Ball State, Michigan State and Bucknell.

Houston: Louisiana-Lafayette corners coach Zac Etheridge is expected to join Dana Holgorsen's staff at Houston, Bruce Feldman tweets.

Minnesota Vikings: Alex Marvez tweets that the Vikings have hired former Dolphins assistant special teams coach Marwan Maalouf as their new special teams coach.

Miami Dolphins: Packers run game coordinator / inside linebackers coach Patrick Graham is expected to join the Dolphins as defensive coordinator, Adam Schefter tweets.

Maryland: Arkansas director of recruiting Taylor Edwards is leaving for a position on Mike Locksley's staff at Maryland.

Grinnell (D-III - IA): Grinnell is seeking applications for a full-time assistant football coach at the coordinator level. This is an 11 month position and the successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the head coach with practice and game plan preparation, as well as recruiting and retention efforts. Houston: SMU defensive quality control coach Chris Scott Jr. has accepted a recruiting coordinator position at Houston, per source.

New Mexico: Joe Dailey, who previously served as the offensive coordinator at Liberty, has been named the program's new offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach.
