Oklahoma State: Duke assistant head coach / defensive coordinator Jim Knowles has been announced as one of the latest additions to Mike Gundy's staff. Knowles joined the Duke staff in 2009 and prior to that he was the head coach at Cornell with previous FBS stops at Ole Miss (LBs), and Western Michigan (DC / DL). Gundy has also announced the following additions to the staff; Shane Eachus (Ursinus), Greg Richmond (Fairmont State), Brian Rock (Holy Cross), MK Taylor (Jacksonville State), Chris Thurmond (Rice).

Michigan State: Acting interim president Bill Beekman notes that MSU will likely have a new athletic director in the next 24-48 hours, per a tweet from Jonathan Oosting.

Tennessee Titans: Former Raiders wide receivers coach Rob Moore is expected to join the Titans in the same capacity, per Adam Caplan.

Buffalo Bills: Defensive line coach Mike Waufle has retired after 20 seasons coaching in the NFL.

Kansas City: The Chiefs have announced a number of changes to the staff: The team has promoted Mike Kafka to Quarterbacks Coach, Mark DeLeone to Inside Linebackers Coach, Mike Smith to Outside Linebackers Coach, Corey Matthaei to Assistant Offensive Line Coach, Joe Bleymaier to Pass Game Analyst/Assistant Quarterbacks Coach, and Terry Bradden to Defensive Quality Control Coach. The Chiefs have hired Jay Valai (defense) and David Girardi (offense) as Quality Control Coaches. Former Assistant Head Coach Brad Childress and Special Projects Coach Tommy Brasher have informed the club they will retire. Linebackers Coach Gary Gibbs will not be returning to the team.

Ball State: Athletic director Mark Sandy is retiring at the end of the academic year.

Florida State: New defensive coordinator Harlon Barnett will make $980,000 annually and has a three-year deal, Steve Berkowitz tweets and adds that he's getting a $25,000 signing bonus as well. Barnett was making about $450,000 annually at Michigan State as co-defensive coordinator. Berkowitz also tweets that offensive coordinator Walt Bell is also getting a three-year deal worth $700,000 per year with a $25,000 signing bonus. Bell made about $500,000 last season at Maryland in the same capacity. Run game coordinator / offensive line coach Greg Frey will be paid $650,000 per year on a two-year deal after earning $500,000 annually at Michigan last season, Berkowitz adds. In total, the 10 assistant coaches are set to make a combined total just shy of $5 million.

Tampa Bay Bucs: Todd Monken has been appointed full-time offensive coordinator and will no longer coach the team's wide receivers, and offensive assistant Skyler Fulton has been promoted to wide receivers coach, the team has announced.

Carolina Panthers: Alex Marvez tweets that Brady Hoke is joining the Panthers as defensive line coach. Hoke is the former head coach at Michigan, Ball State, and San Diego State, and most recently was the assistant head coach / defensive line coach at Tennessee before being promoted to interim head coach for the final two games of the season.

Detroit Lions: The Lions plan to hire Jeff Davidson to coach the offensive line, George Godsey to work with the quarterbacks, and Brian Stewart to coach the defensive backs, Alex Marvez tweets.

Kansas: David Beaty has formally announced the addition of Bill Miller as the Jayhawks 10th assistant. Miller will coach the linebackers, while linebackers coach Todd Bradford will now work with the safeties, safeties coach and defensive coordinator Clint Bowen will now coach the corners, and co-defensive coordinator / corners coach Kenny Perry will shift to special teams coordinator.

New Mexico: Mitchell Kleinschrodt, the offensive coordinator / quarterbacks coach at Upper Iowa (D-II), has accepted the director of recruiting job sources tell FootballScoop.

Augustana (D-III - IL): Augustana is seeking a full-time assistant football / linebackers coach. Bachelor’s degree required, master’s degree preferred. The qualified candidate should have a minimum of three years experience coaching college football. Previous coaching experience at the NCAA Division III level is preferred. Mansfield (Sprint - PA): Per source, Portage Central HS (MI) defensive backs / wide receivers coach / special teams coordinator Hunter Perry has been hired to coach the wide receivers and tight ends and also coordinate the special teams. Perry spent the 2015 and 2016 season at Western Michigan at a special teams analyst.

Independence CC (JC - KS): Former NFL defensive tackle Casey Walker is joining the staff as defensive line coach, per source. Walker is a former graduate assistant at Central Oklahoma (D-II).

Houston Baptist (FCS): Offensive coordinator Scott Smith is returning to the high school ranks as the head coach at Legacy Christian Academy (Frisco, TX), per source.

Minnesota Vikings: The Vikings will interview Dan Campbell for their offensive coordinator job tomorrow, Jason Lieser tweets. Campbell is the assistant head coach and tight ends coach for the Saints currently.

Eastern Michigan: Sources tell FootballScoop, former Kent State defensive coordinator Ben Needham is expected to join the EMU staff coaching the defensive line. Prior to joining Paul Haynes' staff at Kent State, Needham previously coached at Arkansas, Ohio State, Drake & Wabash.

Bowling Green: Jimmy Williams has been announced as defensive line coach. He previously worked in the MAC as Buffalo's defensive coordinator from 2006-08, as Eastern Michigan's defensive line coach from 2014-16 and as Western Michigan's defensive line coach in 2016 and '17.

LSU: Offensive coordinator Steve Ensminger will earn $800,000 a year, offensive line coach James Cregg $475,000, special teams coordinator Greg McMahon $375,000 and passing game coordinator Jerry Sullivan $450,000, according to contract details obtained by Ross Dellenger of the Baton Rouge Advocate. Ensminger, Cregg and McMahon all signed 2-year deals, while Sullivan is just under contract for 2018. Additionally, Dave Aranda's contract is set at four years and $2.5 million per, with no buyout should he leave for a head coaching position or an NFL job. Dellenger also notes that LSU expects to fill its 10th assistant spot on defense.

Morehead State (FCS - KY): Per source, a number of titles and responsibilities have changed at Morehead State.Dovonte Edwards is going from co-special teams coordinator / safeties coach to defensive coordinator / defensive backs coach, co-special teams coordinator / DFO / TEs / slots coach Milo Austin has been promoted to assistant head coach / wide receivers coach and will continue his co-special teams coordinator duties, assistant defensive line coach Kalon Humphries has added the title of recruiting analyst, offensive line coach Brett Rude has added run game coordinator title and assistant offensive line coach Killian Markworth has been promoted to tight ends coach.

Utah: University of Utah is looking for an offensive graduate assistant. Applicant must have college playing experience at the WR position. Massachusetts Maritime (D-III – MA): Massachusetts Maritime Academy has a part time position open coaching LBs. Additional responsibilities include: recruiting an assigned area, and to assist in student – athlete retention and development. Compensation will include a spring stipend of $800.00 (May) & an in season stipend of $5,500.00 (August - December). Southeastern Louisiana (FCS): Source tells FootballScoop Frank Scelfo will be the new head coach at Southeastern.

Rutgers: Corey Brown, who most recently coached the defensive line at Miami (OH), has been hired to coach the defensive line, per NJ.com.

ICYMI: Over the weekend, sources told FootballScoop Brian Van Gorder has agreed to become defensive coordinator at Louisville.

Louisville: Brian VanGorder has now officially been announced as the team's new defensive coordinator.

Iowa swept an extension for its head basketball coach under the rug, and it's a lesson for coaches and ADs everywhere.

Harvard (FCS - MA): Harvard is currently looking to hire an assistant football coach on defense (special teams coordinator / defensive secondary coach). This position coach will work closely with the head coach and staff, with primary responsibilities being on-field coaching and national recruitment of academically-qualified student-athletes. As a full time, 12-month, benefits-eligible role, the successful candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree, at least 5 years Division One intercollegiate coaching experience, and demonstrated success as a coach, recruiter, and strong interpersonal skills. New York Giants: Per multiple reports, Pat Shurmur is retaining Craig Johnson to coach the running backs.

Oklahoma Panhandle State (D-II): Per source, OPSU has recently filled two open spots on their staff with Christian Escobar and Kendall Walker. Coach Escobar most recently was an assistant at Sul Ross State (D-III - TX) and will be an offensive assistant, and coach Walker recently finished a standout playing career at linebacker for Indiana State (FCS) and will coach linebackers for the Aggies.

Oklahoma Baptist (D-II): Per source, Central Oklahoma (D-II) defensive graduate assistant Gabe Lynn has accepted a job coaching the corners.

Auburn: Jonathan Rutledge, who spent the last two seasons working as a special teams analyst at Missouri, has accepted a position on Gus Malzahn's staff.
