Please join us in praying for the family of Marion Campbell, a former Philadelphia player, defensive coordinator, and head coach who passed away recently at the age of 87. Campbell took over as head coach from Dick Vermeil in 1983 and led the franchise for three years.

Baylor: At his introductory press conference today at Big 12 media days today in Dallas, new AD Mack Rhoades said he'll begin the evaluation process for Baylor's 2017 coach "immediately," while also noting his respect and admiration for Jim Grobe. "We'll have things lined up by the time the season ends if need be."

West Virginia: Former WVU standout Stedman Bailey will join the staff as a student assistant coach, the school has announced. Bailey was shot in the head twice last November in Miami and was waived by the Los Angeles Rams with a non-football injury designation last month.

San Diego Chargers: Purdue recruiting assistant Matt Waugh is joining the Chargers' scouting department, source tells FootballScoop. Before joining the Purdue staff this past season, Waugh previously worked with the Lions and the Titans.

Hendrix College (D-III – AR): Hendrix College in Conway, AR has an immediate opening for defensive coaching position (preferably front 7). This will be a part-time position from August 1-December 1. On campus housing and a minimum of $1500 stipend will be provided. Interested coaches please forward a cover letter and resume/references to Heim@hendrix.edu.

Jones County (JC - MS): Former South Alabama special teams quality control coach Jake Crain has been added to the staff as special teams coordinator, per source.

Southwest Minnesota State (D-II): Southwest Minnesota State has an opening for a coaching position on offense, preferably wide receivers. This position is for the fall only and will pay a $4000 stipend for August-December. Looking for someone with WR experience (coaching and/or playing). This is a perfect position for someone who just completed their Master’s Degree as a GA and looking to gain additional experience and professional contacts. Stanford: David Shaw earned $4.1 million as the Cardinal's head coach in 2014 according to tax records obtained by USA Today. Shaw earned $2.2 million in 2013.

UVA-Wise (D-II): University of Virginia’s College at Wise is seeking applicants for a part-time tight ends / tackles coach. The candidate will coach tight ends/tackles, recruit own area, video editing and breakdown, Social Media/Graphics and other duties as assigned by the head coach/coordinator. Husson (D-III - ME): Husson University is looking for a part-time coach. Compensation is a stipend only, no housing, no meals and no benefits. ESPN:The SEC is sending six coaches to Bristol for the annual ESPN Car Wash today, including Gus Malzahn, Will Muschamp, Derek Mason, Dan Mullen, Kirby Smart, and Butch Jones.

Nichols (D-III - MA): Nichols College is no longer accepting applications for the outside linebacker graduate assistant position.

Missouri State (FCS - MO): Missouri State is no longer accepting applications for the open graduate assistant position. Thanks for the overwhelming interest.

Western Oregon (D-II): Western Oregon has an immediate opening for 2 volunteer assistant coach positions with possible opportunities for a GA/stipend positions in the future. The primary coaching role/duties will be determined by the head coach but would prefer someone with offensive or defensive line experience. This is an entry level opportunity for individuals seeking to enter the college coaching profession. Qualifications: Bachelors Degree along with either previous coaching experience or playing experience. College of Wooster (D-III - OH): The College of Wooster has an opening for an assistant football coach. This is a $2,000-4,000 stipend position with no other benefits. Must be experienced within pro style and spread offensive schemes. College wide receiver playing experience is required. College coaching experience preferred. Other duties include, dorm monitoring, recruiting and other duties assigned by the head coach. Additional income to be made with successful acquisition of players through recruiting.
