Maine Maritime (D-III - ME): Maine Maritime Academy currently has assistant coach positions available. The assistant coach position is for the academic-year. The successful candidates will be college graduates and possess previous college playing and/or coaching experience. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, coaching their own position group, assisting in practice and game planning, video breakdown and analysis with Hudl, recruiting, and academic oversight. Compensation includes an hourly wage and housing. Madonna (NAIA - MI): Back in January, we shared that Madonna was hiring Matt Wright as their offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach, and the school has now formally announced that hire. Also, former Eastern Michigan defensive backs coach Herb Haygood has been hired as the program's defensive coordinator after spending the past five seasons on the EMU staff.

Assumption (D-II - MA): Assumption College has an immediate opening for a defensive assistant. Duties include, but are not limited to; assisting with a defensive position and assisting on special teams. Local candidates encouraged to apply as this position does not have housing. Morehead State (FCS - KY): Morehead State University (FCS-KY) is accepting applications for the position of Assistant Offensive Line Coach. This is an entry-level position and will be responsible for coaching, administrative support, and video/opponent breakdowns. This in an intern position and is UNPAID, no housing will be provided, but compensation includes meals and a reference for future opportunities within the coaching profession. Juniata (D-III - PA): Juniata College invites applications for a 12 month, intern level, offensive assistant / Director of Football operations. Juniata is a co-educational, liberal arts college, highly regarded for its academic excellence. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to; on field coaching and instruction, football operations, the recruitment of qualified student-athletes, scouting and game preparation, academic monitoring, and the administration and organization of camps and clinics. Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree, a valid driver’s license, and playing experience/coaching experience at the collegiate level. Preference will be given to applicants with experience coaching or playing a defensive position at the college level and recruiting experience. Strong communication skills and the ability to successfully recruit high quality student-athletes in a rigorous academic environment is a must. Experience with Hudl digital editing system is a plus. Missouri Western State (D-II): Missouri Western State University is seeking applicants for a Defensive GA or Quality Control. Compensation includes $500/Mo for 10 months, some meals, and full tuition if you want to pursue a master's degree. Affordable housing is available for $325/Mo. Starting date is immediately. Michigan State: Source tells FootballScoop that Northwood (D-II - MI) offensive line coach Zac Hueter has joined the staff in an off-the-field role in the player personnel department. Before joining the Northwood staff, Hueter coached the offensive line at Davenport (D-II - MI) and also spent time as a graduate assistant at Michigan State and West Virginia.

John Carroll (D-III – OH): John Carroll University is looking to immediately fill a Defensive Quality Control/Graduate Assistant position. Compensation is $10,000 over a 10 month contract. Graduate School a possibility to the right candidate. Responsibilities include: coaching a position group on the defensive side of the ball, scout team organization, managing a recruiting area, film breakdown/editing, and playbook drawings. Southwestern Assemblies of God (NAIA - TX): Chase Paramore has been hired as the team's passing game coordinator and wide receivers coach, source tells FootballScoop. Prior to SAGU, Chase was a graduate assistant at Faulkner (NAIA - AL).

Briar Cliff (NAIA - IA): Briar Cliff University, located in Sioux City, IA is currently looking for a defensive line coach. The ideal candidate will have experience either playing or coaching the position.The canidate will fill a Graduate Assistant position (2.8 GPA required) or Restricted Earning position. Graduate Assistant pay includes full tuition, on campus meals and monthly stipend. Restricted Earnings position includes meals and $1,000 monthly stipend over four months. Position start date ASAP. Alvernia (D-III - PA): Alvernia University has an immediate opening for an assistant football coach / director of strength and conditioning. 3-5 years of coaching experience at the high school or collegiate level is required. Must possess a Bachelor’s Degree and current nationally recognized strength certification. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the organization, implementation and oversight of Alvernia Football strength training, coaching a position group, organizing and running position meetings, managing your own recruiting territory, game planning and preparation, monitoring the academic progress of student athletes, video editing, and other duties assigned by the head football coach. Additional duties may be assigned by the Director of Athletics. This is an entry-level position and no benefits are available. Compensation is $15K-25K based upon experience and qualifications. Husson (D-III - ME): Husson University is looking for a part-time assistant defensive backs coach. This is a part-time position with no housing or benefits and will pay a $9K stipend. The ideal candidate will coach the corners and duties include holding daily position meetings, film breakdown, monitor student-athletes academics and will include the opportunity to recruit off campus. WPI (D-III - MA): WPI has an immediate opening for an intern position on staff. The position is a 9 month paid (1000$ per month) position and includes free housing next to campus as well. The successful candidate will have a four year degree. Previous playing / coaching experience is also recommended, preferable experience on the defensive side of the ball. Perfect position for young coaches looking to coach a position and gain recruiting experience at a highly selective academic institution. WPI is a member of the NEWMAC Football Conference and is a highly competitive academic institution. Position will begin August 1, 2019 and run from August 2019 – April 2020.
