Colorado: In connection with the Joe Tumpkin / domestic violence accusations brought to light in December, head coach Mike MacIntyre will receive a letter of reprimand and has agreed to donate $100,000 to an organization involved with stopping domestic violence. The University's report stated that mistakes were made; but they found no intent to cover anything up. Read more on all of this here.

NFL: Former Miami Dolphin & Cleveland Browns executive Dawn Aponte is joining the NFL league office as chief football administrative officer reports the Sports Business Journal's Daniel Kaplan. The new position reports to Executive Vice President Troy Vincent.

College Football Playoff: University of Texas senior associate AD Dave Marmion has been named CFO for the College Football Playoff.

Iowa Wesleyan (D-III): Iowa Wesleyan University is accepting applications for a part-time, seasonal Football Intern – Defensive Coach. This position will begin in August 2017 and run through December 2017. Responsibilities include but are not limited to assisting the IWU Defensive Coordinator with implementing game plans, coaching of special teams and defensive positions (Defensive Line and Linebackers preferred), film evaluation, conducting position meetings, attending team and coaching staff meetings, recruiting an assigned territory, and promoting, and ensuring the success of the IWU football program while complying with IWU and NCAA Division III Conference rules and regulations. A Bachelor’s degree is required and playing experience at the collegiate level is preferred. Qualified candidates should submit a cover letter, resume, coaching philosophy and three (3) professional references with contact information to kathy.moothart@iw.edu. FAU: Mike Nysewander has joined the staff as a graduate assistant working with the offense / special teams. Nysewander spent last season as a quality control assistant at Samford (FCS - AL) and is a former fullback at Alabama.

Tennessee: Running backs coach / assistant head coach / recruiting coordinator Robert Gillespie has received a $35,000 pay increase and will make $510,000 this season, per GoVols247. In addition, linebackers coach Tommy Thigpen's contract has been rolled over a year, meaning that all Tennessee's coaches are under contract through the 2018 season and no coach is operating is his final year of his deal entering this fall.

Simpson (D-III - IA): Simpson College is accepting applicants for a Defensive Line Position Coach. Position will begin August 1, 2017. Independence CC (JC - KS): Independence Community College has an opening for an offensive assistant coaching position. The qualified candidate will have College playing and/or coaching experience at the wide receiver position. Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to: assisting in all aspects of coaching, planning and organization of practices, individual position meetings, game day duties, recruiting and retaining student-athletes, video editing and other assignments requested by the Head Coach. Beloit (D-III - WI): Beloit College has a 10 month,$7,000 restricted earnings position available starting August and ending in May.
