Toledo: Nate Cole (RBs) and Kevin Beard (WRs) have been officially announced as new additions to the Toledo staff.

Florida State: Due to some bad luck (or a poor reading of the rules, depending on how generous you want to be), Florida State will spend the 2019 season with nine on-the-field assistants instead of 10. How it happened.

Puget Sound (D-III - WA): Puget Sound invites applications for the part time positions of defensive backs coach. The successful candidates will be heavily involved in game planning and film work (HUDL). The successful candidate will also be expected to help recruit, retain, and graduate academically successful student-athletes to the University of Puget Sound.The stipend position is a primarily Fall only coaching position with limited recruiting responsibilities. Screening of applicants begins immediately, applications accepted until position is filled. All offers of employment are contingent on successful completion of a background inquiry. New Orleans Saints: Declan Doyle, who served as a student assistant at Iowa previously, has joined the team as an offensive assistant, per multiple reports.

Cincinnati: Mike Brown has now been announced as the new wide receivers coach on Luke Fickell's staff. Brown coached the running backs at Liberty last season and has previous coaching stops at Michigan (offensive analyst), and Delaware (offensive quality control assistant).

Air Force Prep: The US Air Force Academy Preparatory School is accepting applications for positions on both offense and defense. In addition, the coaches would also assist with or coordinate the strength and conditioning program. AF Prep is located on base at the Air Force Academy and plays a JUCO schedule. Colorado State: Colorado State football is looking to fill its director of on campus recruiting position. This role is in charge of organizing and running all visits to campus (Official, unofficial, game day and junior day) and coordinating coaching staff communication to recruits. Utah: Kyle Whittingham has received an extension through December 2023, adding two years to his previous deal.

Miami: Andy Vaughn, who spent the past nine months as the senior director of recruiting and high school relations at Arizona, is "in line to become" the next director of player personnel on Manny Diaz's staff, per 247. Prior to joining the Arizona staff, Vaughn worked at Nebraska, Nevada, Middle Tennessee State, and Clemson.

Big Ten: Commissioner Jim Delaney will retire at the end of his current contract, which expires on June 30th, 2020, the conference has announced. Read more here.

Lock Haven (D-II - PA): Lock Haven University is currently seeking a restricted earnings assistant working with defensive backs for the upcoming spring. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, coaching your own position group, managing a recruiting area, film editing/breakdown, game/practice preparation, as well as other duties assigned by the head football coach. Applicants must display great work ethic and have collegiate coaching experience (student assistant or graduate assistant experience acceptable for candidate minimum qualification). A Bachelor’s degree and successful completion of a background check is required. Position will pay $4,000. Benefits, housing and meals are NOT included. Blinn (JC - TX): Blinn JC is looking to hire an assistant coach, preferably working with the defensive line. Essential Duties: Assist the coach(s) in practice, games or events. Ability to travel with the team and/or coaching staff to games, events and recruitment. Assist in the supervision of extra-curricular activities. Compiles sports information, including but not limited to statistics and reporting, as assigned. Assists with promotions and marketing of the Blinn College athletic program. Helps maintain the athletic equipment and facilities. Assists with scouting, recruiting and other work related duties. Attend all required meetings with Athletic Director. Assist in supervising the strength and conditioning program. Assist in the supervision of the Colleges residence halls and dining hall. Adhere to all Blinn College policies and procedures. Morehead State (FCS - KY): Morehead State is no longer accepting applications for their part-time coaching vacancies. Thank you for the overwhelming interest in the positions.

Western Kentucky: AD Todd Stewart has received a pay raise from $204,000 to $270,000 a year.

Arkansas State: North Carolina quarterback Nathan Elliott has decided to end his college career early to take a graduate assistant job at A-State.

Florida State: Defensive ends coach Mark Snyder will take on special teams duties and will help Raymond Woodie with the linebackers while Odell Haggins takes over the entire defensive line after working with the defensive tackles last season, the Tallahassee Democrat points. Also, David Kelly remains the recruiting coordinator and Ron Dugans is the receivers coach, and the article adds that FSU was denied a waiver to move Kelly off the field due to IAWP issues.

Indiana Wesleyan (NAIA - IN): Brett Ekkens, who coached the offensive line at Akron the past three seasons, is joining the staff as offensive line coach, source tells FootballScoop. Ekkens was promoted from Akron graduate assistant to offensive line coach back in March of 2016 by Terry Bowden, making him the youngest offensive line coach in FBS football at the time.

Arkansas: Source tells FootballScoop that Texas A&M assistant director of recruiting operations Larry McDonald has accepted the position of executive director of recruiting and personnel with the Razorbacks.

Valparaiso (FCS - IN): Valparaiso University, who participates in the Pioneer Football League, is seeking three unpaid intern positions. These positions are available to those aspiring to get into the coaching profession. We are looking for interns on both sides of the ball and special teams. The offensive and defensive interns will coach their own position group (position to be determined). The interns will begin immediately. Targeting: The Football Rules Committee is proposing a "progressive penalty" for targeting.

WPI (D-III - MA): WPI is currently accepting applications for an offensive intern (WR preferably). The position is a 9 month paid (1000$ per month) position and includes free housing adjacent to campus as well. The successful candidate will have a four year degree. Previous playing / coaching experience on the offensive side of the ball is also recommended. WPI is a member of the NEWMAC Football Conference and is a highly competitive academic institution. Position may begin this spring and run through April 30 but the priority is to hire for August 2019 – April 2020.
