USC: Offensive line coach Neil Callaway has been relieved of his duties and Clay Helton is taking over play calling duties for the rest of the season from Tee Martin, USC has announced. Martin will still have the offensive coordinator title, and running backs coach Tim Drevno will also coach the offensive line while getting assistance with the running backs from USC's graduate assistants.

St. Thomas (NAIA - FL): Savannah State offensive coordinator/offensive line coach William Rychel has been named St. Thomas's first head coach. He will assume head coaching duties on Dec. 1, and St. Thomas will play its first season in 2019. “I targeted Coach Rychel to start the program at St. Thomas University because he was one of the key drivers who helped me start a football program at Notre Dame College in Cleveland,” said STU President David A. Armstrong. “Rychel and I have a history of building a college football team that focuses on: mission, character building, academic success and competition. He is a man of quality character and is a fantastic recruiter.”

Lindenwood-Belleville (NAIA - IL): The head coaching job has been open. Bachelor's degree and prior coaching experience required. Interested candidates can read more and apply via this link.

Dallas Cowboys: The Cowboys have let go offensive line coach Paul Alexander, and assistant offensive line coach Marc Colombo is taking over the unit. Also, former offensive line coach Hudson Houck has been hired to work with the offensive line in an advisory capacity.

Cleveland Browns: The team has now officially announced Hue Jackson has been relieved of his duties and announced both the Williams and Kitchens news.

Cleveland Browns: Just when things couldn't get any more #Browns, Mary Kay Cabot tweets that she hears DC Gregg Williams will now serve as interim head coach. Cabot adds that running backs coach / associate head coach Freddie Kitchens will step in as offensive coordinator. This will mark the first time in his coaching career that Kitchens has called plays.

Maryland: Earlier this morning Heather Dinich reported Maryland's Chancellor planned to call University President, the AD and the head football coach this morning. That time has come and gone. Heather Dinich has now reported that the Chancellor decided to postpone those calls....

Lincoln Riley: The head coach of the Sooners addresses rumors connecting his name to the Browns opening.

Cleveland Browns: The Browns have fired Hue Jackson. ESPN's Adam Schefter was first with the news. Senior offensive assistant Al Saunders will serve as interim head coach going forward. Ian Rapoport relays that OC Todd Haley has been fired as well. This might just be the time the Browns come calling on a current (or former) college head coach...

Illinois: Hardy Nickerson has resigned as defensive coordinator.

Ohio State: Urban Meyer said Monday, "I plan on coaching next year." When pressed on if he plans to return in 2019, Meyer said, "Yes."

Cleveland Browns: Yesterday the NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reported that offensive coordinator Todd Haley and head coach Hue Jackson were not on the same page and "if this continues, and the disconnect is not reconciled, a move will likely be made." Today, Jackson dismissed the report saying, "There's nothing wrong with my relationship with Haley....I never said I wanted to take away play calling. I said I wanted to help. That's it."


Master of Sports Administration: The Master of Sport Administration (MSA) program focuses on developing a greater understanding and working knowledge of the needs within athletic departments in high school and college as well as professional sport and the sport business setting. Graduates from this online program will understand the organizational, financial, personnel and technology issues involved in sport and the sport business arena.

Maryland: The Chancellor of the University System of Maryland has phone calls scheduled with University President Wallace Loh, AD Damon Evans and head football coach DJ Durkin this morning per a report from Heather Dinich. Stay tuned folks...

Alderson Broaddus (D-II - WV): Alderson Broaddus University located in Philippi, WV has immediate openings for two graduate intern football coaches for its new Sprint Football program. AB will now have two separate football programs. These positions are ten month contracts and will begin in mid November. Each position will pay a salary, will provide a housing allowance, will provide a meal plan, and will offer an individual health insurance policy. Keystone College (D-III - PA): Keystone College invites applications for the position of Assistant Football Coach / Offense Coordinator. This is a full-time 12 month position with benefits, which will comply with all NCAA Division III rules and regulations. The successful candidate will be responsible for organizing and implementing an offensive system, manage a recruiting area, coach their own positions, monitor the development of student-athletes, as well as other duties assigned. Bachelor's degree required, master's degree preferred. Candidate should hold a valid driver's license. Quarterback experience preferred, collegiate recruiting experience required.
