Florida: When asked about the Florida job today, Willie Taggart said this, via The Oregonian: "I am committed to the University of Oregon and focused on Washington, a big-time game for us this week. I asked our players and coaches to be focused and committed to that and that's what I'm committed to, as well." Florida AD Scott Stricklin said Sunday night he will not personally contact candidates until after their respective seasons are complete.

Florida State: Defensive coordinator Charles Kelly has "stepped down but will remain on staff" reports Jim Henry, sports editor at the Tallahassee Democrat. Jimbo Fisher just had a presser earlier today and did not mention this. Will update.... Update> Source tells FootballScoop the report from the Tallahassee Democrat is not correct.

Jim McElwain: The Denver Post noted today that Jim McElwain still owes $1 million to Colorado State in connection with his buyout. Per contract McElwain owed CSU $7.5 million. They negotiated a settlement in which Florida paid CSU $3 million, Mac would pay $2 million and Florida is paying CSU $2 million for a game guarantee (2018 in Gainesville). McElwain's payments were scheduled for $333,000 every June 30th for six years. He has made all three payments due thus far. Read more from the Post here.

Tennessee: Sources tell FootballScoop UT AD John Currie continues to tell Butch Jones to focus on making it to a bowl game. Currently 3-5, the Vols have Southern Miss this weekend, then travel to Missouri before concluding with LSU & Vanderbilt in Neyland.

Willie Taggart: In his first year as Oregon's coach, one might assume Taggart's buyout (should he be lured to another job) would be prohibitively high.... Well, no, not at all (in fact it is shockingly low).

Illinois: The Illini have announced plans, and impressive renderings, for a new $79 million Football Performance Center.
