Tragic news to pass along out of San Diego as former long-time Grossmont College (JC) head coach Dave Jordan has been killed in what the medical examiner is calling a homicide - suicide also involving Coach Jordan's wife Jean. Dave Jordan served as head coach at Grossmont for 23 years, retiring in 2006 when his son Mike took over as head coach. Please pray for the Jordans.

ESPN: After a tweet critical of Washington's loss to Auburn, ESPN reportedly won't assign play-by-play announcer Mark Jones to Huskies games this year. There's lots of backstory to this.
