Texas: As widely expected, Todd Orlando confirmed after Houston's Las Vegas Bowl loss he will follow Tom Herman to become the new defensive coordinator at Texas. SI's Pete Thamel reports Orlando will get a 3-year deal worth north of a million dollars a year. Cougars safeties coach Craig Naivar and strength coach Yancy McKnight are also expected to join Herman in Austin.

Abilene Christian: Fresh off winning the Division II national championship on Saturday evening, sources tell FootballScoop Northwest Missouri State head coach Adam Dorrel plans to accept the Abilene Christian job. Expect a formal announcement Monday. Read more here.

Minnesota: Minnesota players have announced they have ended their boycott of team activities as a protest against suspensions handed out to 10 Gophers and will participate in the Dec. 27 Holiday Bowl.

Wakeyleaks: The ACC has fined Louisville and Virginia Tech $25,000 apiece as part of their involvement in Wakeyleaks. The $25,000 figure is the highest allowed by the league's bylaws.

Georgia Southern: Army offensive line coach Bob Bodine is joining the Georgia Southern staff in the same capacity sources tell FootballScoop. GASouthern's Scout site first reported the hire.

Lawrence Tech (NAIA - MI): Sources tell FootballScoop former Culver-Stockton head coach Jeff Duvendeck will become the first head coach of Lawrence Tech, a startup NAIA program in Michigan.

Baylor: Sources tell FootballScoop Temple assistant director of operations Ryan Kelly will join the staff at Baylor in a similar capacity.

FAU: OwlAccess is reporting that Alabama offensive analyst Charlie Weis Jr. will join Lane Kiffin's offensive staff at FAU. They add that Alabama assistant strength coach Wilson Love will be the new head strength coach at FAU.
