Baylor: Sources tell FootballScoop that Matt Rhule is hiring Temple offensive line coach George DeLeone and also that San Francisco 49ers tight ends coach Jeff Nixon is joining the staff as co-offensive coordinator. Prior to joining the Niners, Nixon coached the running backs with the Miami Dolphins for nine seasons.
San Francisco 49ers: According to Adam Schefter, the Niners are expected "to make sweeping changes, dismissing head coach Chip Kelly and GM Trent Baalke."
Western Kentucky: Sources tell FootballScoop that Notre Dame offensive analyst Matt Mitchell is joining Mike Sanford's staff as an offensive graduate assistant working with the wide receivers.
Oregon: Colorado corners coach Charles Clark is "set to join Jim Leavitt" at Oregon reports Scott Reed of the Duck Sports Authority. Sources tell FootballScoop the same.
University of Mary (D-II - ND): Source tells FootballScoop Springfield College halfbacks coach Bobby Jones will be the new offensive coordinator at University of Mary.
San Diego State: Head coach Rocky Long is expected to sign a new contract "soon after the new year," according to Kirk Kenney of the San Diego Union-Tribune. Long is 66 years old and has led the program since 2011 and is 54-26 overall and 36-11 in Mountain West Conference play.
Purdue: Tony Levine will join Jeff Brohm at Purdue in same capacity as he had at WKU, coordinating special teams / co-OC & tight ends reports Bruce Feldman.
Oregon: Sources tell FootballScoop USF director of football operations Sharrod Everett will join Willie Taggart at Oregon as associate AD for football operations.
FAU: We hear FAU is seeking a defensive grad assistant with linebacker experience.

Michigan: Defensive coordinator Don Brown will get a new 5 year deal worth around $1.4 million per year reports Bruce Feldman with Fox Sports.
Elon: Sources tell FootballScoop IUP head coach Curt Cignetti has now informed his players that he has accepted the Elon head job.
Bryant University (FCS - RI): Source tells FootballScoop, Princeton offensive coordinator James Perry is expected to accept the head coaching position at Bryant.
Emporia State University (D-II - KS): Emporia State, located in Emporia, KS is seeking applicants for an offensive graduate assistant working with an offensive skilled position. Compensation includes tuition and a monthly stipend. Housing is not a part of the package. Position includes but is not limited to: coaching your own position group, video editing, assisting in the equipment room, managing a recruiting area, and other duties assigned by the head coach. Ideal candidate has knowledge of digital media and other computer skills that can be used in recruiting. Minorities are encouraged to apply.
