Georgia State: Georgia State has dismissed head coach Trent Miles, per Pete Thamel. We can confirm. Miles was 9-38 in his four seasons leading the program, including a 2-8 mark this fall.
Houston: UH president Renu Khator told the Houston Chronicle before today's game on Tom Herman, "We love him. We'll try and hang on to him. I think he's committed."
Birmingham Southern (D-III): Source tells FootballScoop BSC has targeted Centre College (D-III - KY) offensive coordinator Tony Joe White to be their next head coach. We hear the announcement should come later this weekend.
Boston College: During last night's 45-7 loss to Florida State, former BC head coach Jeff Jagodzinski sent a scathing tweet to his former employer.
Fresno State: Jeff Tedford will be given a salary pool of $1.6 million, according to the Fresno Bee. The Bee also notes that Tedford's deal is for five-years and worth $7.9 million, not including incentives.
